    I would like to give 3.5 stars. However, since I can't I will be generous.

    The nice thing about this hotel is it is right off the freeway and a parallel street with a lot of restaurants on it. Unfortunately, this means you can hear the freeway and street from the room.

    The structure is 3 stories and has an elevator. The halls that face out to the parking lot can be very slick when wet or icy so be careful. The room was good-sized but not fancy. Inside there was a mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in the room. The internet was pretty quick and no-hassle. They have a continental breakfast that is pretty good but not remarkable.

    After traveling across the country and staying at multiple Days Inn, I was expecting pure failure.

    The room was clean, although smelled of dust...

    Overall, nothing was stolen and we slept well after a long day on the road.

    The staff was great, there was free wifi, and pets are not a problem at all.

    If you're traveling and need to stay off the highway, I wouldn't look any further.

    For a quick stop for a nice cat nap, this is an okay place :] I'd first like to stress how absolutely kind the lobby receptionists are. Jonathan, who I believe is the manager, and Delilah were very kind and helpful :] Their amazing customer service is definitely 5 stars. The cleanliness of the hotel is 4 stars. The only problem was the old cigarette smell. Not too huge a deal for me. The comfort of the hotel.. 3 stars. You pay what you get for though, ya know? So I'm pleased with it altogether :]

    A few extra goodies:

    * PET FRIENDLY :D !! I have my little girl with me, and love that I don't have to sneak her in like I usually do :ahem: she's spread eagle on the bed right now :D
    * Complimentary Continental breakfast 6-10am
    * Free wifi
    * Ton of cable channels with good reception.
    * Right off of I-10 :]
    * laundry rooms

    There is a pool and an elevator. Only one elevator, so that's kind of a bummer.
    Ps.... Majority of the people around this area.. Not the people I typically surround myself with.

    We had been staying in Days Inn whilst traveling across the country and they were ALL terrible, terrible places to be. I had prepaid this Days Inn (otherwise, I would've looked for a hotel elsewhere). However, this Days Inn was refreshing in being what you would expect from a cheap motel.

    It wasn't amazing, but it was clean, safe, secure. It was within walking distance of a Walmart, and some delicious food (including an amazing Texas Roadhouse).

    Bottom line: I would stay here again if I were passing through El Paso. Good location, comfortable beds, and pet friendly.

    I stayed here 1 Saturday night in nov 2013 . after nogationing with the man behind the desk I got him to lower the price to $ 58.70 including tax. I didn't  like the hotel at all. loud noise from the I 10 and the elevator. the first room the air condintioner didn't work . he said the plug might be out . I said I checked the plug . so he finally gave me a new room facing the I 10 . the second room the door wouldn't open . he said the door handles were installed upside down so I have to push the door handle up. I should of remembered my 3 stooges movies when curly said you have to use stratatoogie. . dirty room . you need the coupon they give you at check in to eat breakfast or the breakfast Nazi will grab you  by the neck and throw you out the restaurant and into the street  you free loading bums. the nerve of me to think I could just waltz in and eat my free breakfast without going through check point Charlie.

    Nothing too fancy about this Days Inn, but the prices are pretty decent. The beds are clean. The room smelled of too much carpet cleaner, but otherwise it was okay. They did have a microwave and a refrigerator in the room (wow you usually have to pay extra for that in your room)!

    Good news is that it's pet friendly, even though we don't have pets. Laundry available. They have a free breakfast and it's not just a continental type either. They had scrambled eggs, sausage bits, gravy, biscuits, toast, cold cereal, milk, and juices, but they should also have water available too. Free wi-fi, cable tv (didn't watch any), just a place to lay our  heads for my Dad and I's trip from Houston back to San Diego. Good halfway point to our trip home. Easy freeway access. Located near the East end of El Paso off Interstate 10 Freeway. The place has three floors so if you're handicapped, make sure that you state that before booking a room as the only elevator they have is located near the front center of the building. So if you have a room in the back and you can't walk up a few stairs, then you need to make sure you make arrangements.

    My true test of if I like a place is would I stay there again? My answer is yes! That's my test for places to eat too. Would I eat there again?

    I wasn't expecting much, but needed a cheap place to stay the night during a cross country trip from California to Alabama.

    I called ahead with a reservation and paid in full (non-refundable). When I arrived, I informed the front desk woman (Ira) that I had a reservation. She looked in her antiquated computer system and simply said "no you don't". She then told me in the snippiest way possible "YOU need to call the reservation company and work this out". I called, and the reservation company apologized and put me on hold to call the front desk. I could hear the whole conversation. Ira was rude and unhelpful to this woman also. Finally when they were able to fax over confirmation that I had in fact reserved the room and paid in full, Ira showed her superior customer service and let me know that the room I reserved was not available and in fact, no smoking rooms were available. She also appeared to take pleasure in letting me know that the room was not refundable.

    It wasn't until my husband came in demanding a refund that an off duty hotel worker came in to the rescue and gave us a room that was non-smoking but was already smoked in. He promised we could use it as a smoking room and informed us that this booking issue has been happening frequently.

    After a 14 hour drive, the last thing I want is a rude, ignorant woman talking down to me and taking my hard earned money without giving what I paid for. When I complained the next morning, the GM called and said I should check in next time I am in El Paso and he would "make it right". That was a nice gesture, but I wouldn't deal with that woman even for a free room.

    The room itself is what you would expect for a $52 room. Old, worn down, but clean. No roaches or horrible stains. Just shabby motel room, which I have no problem with. I just hate dealing with rude, lazy, people!

    Yuck. Dirty bathmat that had dirt marks and a hair on it and small, very thin bath towels that were also dirty. Hotel is old and needs remodeling. The only saving grace is the warm breakfast and the fact that the beds were clean.

    If all you need is a bed, a lock and some breakfast then this is your place. Don't expect much else.

    I wish I could give 0 stars bc this is disgusting. I'm aware it's low on the totem pole for hotels but still? For $75 for 1 night I expect cleanliness at minimum.

    The pics I posted say it all.

    The price was right.  We really just needed a place to crash while in El Paso for a funeral, and we weren't expecting luxury accommodations. Rooms are reasonable with a standard TV, fridge, microwave.  Our remote didn't work properly, and neither did the buttons on the TV, but I figured a way around it.  The vanity light over the sink was glitchy.  Beds were fine.  Shower had good water pressure.  Staff was nice.  We arrived on a Thursday, and the place was a ghost town, but Friday night the place was hopping and they sold completely out and put up the "no vacancy" sign.
