This place was terrible, the only redeeming quality was the shuttle driver. Too expensive to get a place with stains on the hallway carpet, molding coming off the baseboards and an awful smell outside the hotel.

Very nice hotel! The lobby and other common areas were very clean and bright. The front desk staff was very attentive and friendly.

Make sure you tell the front desk people how often you want your bed sheets changed. I stayed three nights and my bed linens were never changed. When I asked at the front desk about this, they said it was the guest's responsibility to request fresh linen.

Don't go out for breakfast. Have it at their breakfast buffet. It's not the least expensive breakfast but the food is awesome! Everything is fresh and the service is great.

For your entertainment, there's a lobby bar and Teddy's Lounge is connected to the hotel. They were doing karaoke the night I visited. There's also a Starbucks next to the property - an easy walk.

Need to read something "bad"? The ice machine on my floor didn't work. The wall paper in my room had a huge rip in it.

This is definitely a great place to stay!

Good place to stay, fast check-in and check out. HD TV with HBO, Discovery, ESPN and other channels in every room. Streaming videos on demand.

Clean room, clean beds, overall a good place to stay. Starbucks right next door.

I went here and lasted 5 minutes.
Totally NOT for me..lol.
Everytime I think about that place I hear Missy Elliot's " Get your freak on" playing in my head.

This is really a little above your average Holiday Inn.  This is not an express so the establishments got its own charm!!  Right behind a Starbucks too, so that's gotta be some extra brownie points!!  But the rooms were nice, it fit the price, they had a nice pool.  They gave me free booze all week so that in its own is 4 stars!!

In other words, other then it being in El Paso, Texass...  it was a comfortable stay!!  Recommended, indeed!

This was nice. Staff cool (meaning not overly friendly but sufficiently helpful and available). Better said, The room I stayed in was nice. No complaints. It was clean, cool, smelled nice... everything you expect from a $100+ per night hotel room. But I don't remember breakfast being memorable. (That could be a good thing...)

Am currently staying here on business. I am very happy with the suite room, it's spacious and well-equipped with a microwave, mini-fridge, and individual coffeemaker. King size bed is one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept in. HUGE HD TV in the room. Internet can be spotty.

Join the Priority Club for Holiday Inn and get free breakfast buffet or 2 free drinks daily. Close to major highways and many restaurants. The restaurant in the hotel has fantastic service and the food is fairly tasty for a hotel restaurant.

Only downfall is the presence of Teddy's Flame Room downstairs, which can attract some interesting clientele, but fortunately I am staying on the opposite side of the hotel from it, so it hasn't affected my stay too much. Staff has been attentive and maid service has been more than adequate.

Do not be fooled. The way the hotel looks from the outside is nothing how the rooms are. From the outside this hotel looks nice and modern, but the rooms are old and not very nice. Lets put it this way, the thermostat in the room was probably older then I am. When I arrived the room had cigarette butts on the floor and stunk like cigarette (in a hotel that is supposed to be smoke free). The decor is just so outdated and old fashioned. There are many other hotels in El Paso that are less expensive and have a lot nicer rooms. On the positive side the manager is really nice and was very helpful with everything, it's not her fault the hotel rooms haven't been renovated. The lobby is also very nice and there is a bar inside.

Not a Holiday Inn anymore, now it's a Best Western. This hotel was great, only had a few flaws. Hotel staff was accommodating & friendly. The hotel appeared very clean including our room. So three thumbs up for that. It was decorated very modern as well. The complimentary hot breakfast was very good, even though they didn't have bacon lol. I love Starbucks coffee and there is one only 50 yards away. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. This hotel would be very convenient for those traveling by air as well as for us, which we're traveling by car. Now for the cons. Most of the channels on the tv we couldn't see (including HBO), so we ended up using our laptop to watch movies. We payed extra to have a balcony and we got it but the sliding door was cracked & stuck, basically broken lol. The biggest problem was that the only ramp in the hotel was at the front entrance. Every other entrance/exit had stairs. Which was very inconvenient when your parked in the back of the hotel and you have a lot of bags. If you have someone disabled in your party, make sure you ask for a room on the first floor, near the main entrance! I'm sure our tv would have been fixed and/or we would have been moved to another room for the sliding door with no problem had we said something about it but we were only staying for the night, so it was no big deal. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

This hotel is decent enough but they have insanely loud music every night until 2 am. I couldn't sleep. Tonight the have a full on DJ in the lobby... It's literally like having a room at a nightclub. We got our money back and went to a nearby hotel. Would never, ever come back here.

This Holiday Inn is conveniently located 10 minutes from the airport.  It's freeway location made it easy to spot from a distance. I walked through the front doors and was greeted by friendly hotel clerks. The decorations inside resembled classic Spanish style buildings with a full lounge area and bar. The pool and gym were inside the main entrance of the hotel.

Once inside the room, it was obvious they took great care of the rooms. I normally find that hotels have a funny smell but my room smelled fresh.  On day two I went to the gym and found two treadmills, an elliptical machine and a set of weights. Small but adequate.

The customer service was average. There was nothing that stood out. Overall a good experience.

Hotel was nice... But...
Breakfast staff was rude.
Found used lube in my friends room. NASTY!!!
When they went down to complain "the only thing they could do for them was to reimburse them $25."
Took over an hour to get towels sent to our room.
Shower went ice cold halfway though my shower.
Was told I couldn't get a room key because "they had ran out."
I had called and asked if they could send someone up to clean our room around 3pm (was told they would send staff up to do so) then called to confirm sending someone an hour later (was told again they would send someone) returned to my room 2 hours later to find out no one had done so. When I went down to ask the manager about it he informed me they had sent their cleaning staff home at 2:30.
Definitely not worth paying the $136 a night.
Won't be staying here again.

While I was reading the Yelp reviews when I was staying here, I had to double-check the address to make sure I was in the same place. Wow, I thought this Holiday Inn was pretty cool.

There are three blocks of the usual mid-level name brand hotels facing this stretch of I-10 & the airport, and I'm guessing they must do those weird hotel shuffle things, when one place completely exchanges their building & identity with another. You know, when you come back a year later and go, "Huh?"

In any case, this particular Holiday Inn sure looked like the newest building on the block to me - big, bright, cheery, a happy staff, and an immaculate room with a really comfortable bed. And that's just frosting, because my cake is all about the big three for free: Parking, WiFi, and a hot breakfast that won't make me puke. It's how I filter my hotel searches online. And among the five hotels that popped up for this unexpected overnighter in El Paso, this place also had the best price, using my Triple-A card. And there's a 24-hour Taco Cabana & Walgreen's in the same parking lot. I'm pretty much a fan of "Score!"
