Where to begin. Pulling up to the hotel it looked nice and the lobby looked fancy. Our first issue was the clerk needed to stop while checking us in to answer the phone. Apperantly it was someone that just checked in and was not happy the pool was closed even though it was advertised as being open and heated. The clerk was very rude in the way he handled the situation and I gathered from the converation the person was going to checkout and leave. As we got to our room we could see the age of the building and how the older exterior was painted over without being repaired. The steps are old and need to be replaced, you can see the age in the wood. Our room looks ok but the floor is as bumpy and uneven as a fairground fun house. There is actually a spot in front of the sink that feels rotted. The bathroom is so small you have to step around the toilet to open and close the door. The cleaning staff speak no english. We were trying to ask for a new do not disturb sign because ours blew off and in trying to point at what we needed she was going to use her key just to let us in a random room. Lastly, the first night, there was a bunch of people partying out in the parking lot at 11pm and then the next day there were people having arguments in the parking lot for a good part of the afternoon that just left an uneasy feeling with us. Oh and the sink was stopped up.

Besides the one roach on the floor, I don't think it's so bad. Cheap, 32" Tv, kitchen area, nice size rooms. Bring your own covers and pillow, just in case.

Worst experience of our 15 day road trip

      Arrived 3/29/2013, departed 3/30/2013.

We booked a non-smoking king, accessible.  Room 126 had the non-smoking sign ripped off the door and the room had been smoked in very recently.  We moved to 159 that had no towels.  At about midnight, sewerage boiled up in the bathtub creating a couple of inches of, well, you know.  My wife called the office.  The girl said she would call the manager and we could move to another room.  There were no other accessible king rooms.  We waited to see if the effluent would drain and it, eventually, did.  We finished the night.

The female who handled the checkout came just short of calling us liars.  She took our number and said she'd have the manager call.  I will not hold my breath.  Regardless, the conditions and treatment remove Ramada from any future travel plans.

Ok first of all the sign says Ramada .....  Don't let that fool you cuz this is ghetto Ramada.  Thank god I brought my gun or we would have had to have taken turns "on watch duty"  upon driving in, going to check in to our room all seemed ok  so far so good  got to the room which appearance seemed ok  the problem is all the occupants (and/ or residence) seemed to be hookers and/pimps and drug addicts/dealer lurking around in the darkness.  We literally had to arm ourself (bring a gunfire all u non gun people) just to get ice  I haven't seen any bugs but I assure u a thorough search was made by the Gf.  So lesson learned just becuz there is a good name on the sign doesn't mean it lives up to standards. Hell for all I know they stole the sign ......All I can say is gun at bedside round in chamber sleeping just fine tonight.

Not a picky guy and in the military, but this hotel had hairs allover the bed/pillows (not ours!), it was disgusting. I called in and told them about it, so they moved us to another room and there still hairs (fewer) in the bed. We just decided to stay since were so tired and got there at 9pm. I drove 8+ hours and before that I woke up at 5am to go to work. Good thing is we brought our own bed sheets/blankets/pillows for the long trip from Fort Hood to Las Vegas. If you don't plan on bringing your own bed sheets, you can call the front desk and ask them. Ill give them a 3 star, because even though there were hairs in the bed, they still were nice and tried to move us to a cleaner room. We reserved online and paid $59 for a night with free breakfast.

Arrived in El Paso after a 4 hour drive from Albuquerque around 9:30pm. Wasn't expecting much considering what I paid for. But, when I opened the door to the room I was surprised how nice it was. Kitchen, little living room area with a couch, and a brand new bathroom. You could smell the newness in the air. The shower was so relaxing and comfortable. I love this hotel. Wish I didn't only stay for a night.

Wow - what a hidden gem in El Paso.  I've stayed at several places in the El Paso area over the years and all but one was $40 or so more per night and only half as nice.  I'm super impressed with the nice room layout, full kitchen area and the nice sleeper sofa would be great if I ever had more family along.

Really enjoyed my stay here.  Very reasonably priced for what you get.  It had a full kitchen with large refrigerator and stove, table and chairs.

We stayed here 02-07-15. I thought it was in a bit of a sketchy area when we arrived but we had no issues. The room was just okay overall. It was very spacious. The TV had something wrong with it. We asked to be moved & an employee swiveled the tv and fixed the picture sort of. It would still go in and out. Room 208 needs a new TV. The kitchenette was nice, but had no pots, dishes or silverware. The fan in the bathroom made a loud obnoxious noise. The bed was comfortable though. The noise levels were minimal. Not a bad place to stay if you have a budget.

Clean. A good value for what you pay. The service left a lot to be desired. But that might be the norm for the area. The options to here are $10 less but this place was worth the extra $10.  the only problem we has was that when we arrived a few hours early to check in they charged me $20.  Overall it was a good experience

People with disabilities, beware! I checked out both 'accessible' rooms and they were identical: door keys refused to work, toilets were small & not ADA-acceptable. Bathroom space was SMALL. The two ice machines are outside at the far ends of the parking lot and one was broken (Mexico's border is very close so wandering around the parking lot looking for ice was not my favorite thing to do at 10 PM). The room was clean and cheap (82.00), but we wouldn't stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property, rooms were well kept and staff was courteous and helpful. They are also pet friendly, which is a huge plus especially in the El Paso area.

I will definitely stay here again.
