Nestled snugly between a gentleman club and industrial park sits The Red Roof Inn.  Its pretty much is what you would suspect... the internet is good and the free coffee is palatable compared to other hotel lobby coffee I've tried to digest.  I recommend you request a non-smoking room and head to the Las Palmas Shopping center for dinner or a real cup of coffee).

Decent motel to crash at. Don't expect to use the filthy shower though. Everything else was clean enough. Walls are very thin though. Didn't mind it much but it wouldn't be our first choice next time thru El Paso. It was cheap (~$65 for a king room)...

So, I had been driving for 9 hours headed from Phx to Austin.  It was 3 am and I was exhausted..  Finally stop in El Paso and hit up the Holiday Inn Express (mostly so I could say I am not a _______ but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.)  They wanted $160 for a room that I needed for 5-6 hours max..  NO THANKS!  So, down the road a mile, found the Red Roof Inn.  Wasn't expecting or needing much, just a bed and a shower..

For the life of me, I cannot recall the name of the gentleman that helped me that night..  But at 3am he was very cheerful..  Quite the opposite of the near zombie state I was in.

I asked him for the price, was quoted something in the range of $60, and asked for any discounts.  He hooked me up with the AARP I believe..  Saved me $15.  He then walked outside with me to find a place for me to park my truck and trailer.

Had I needed a place to sleep on the drive back, this would have been my first choice.  But, alas, I drove straight through..

Great value for the money.  Very cute, recently renovated room with flat-screen TV, mini fridge and free wifi.  Nice desk for setting up a laptop.  Very clean.

Stayed here the first night I arrived in El Paso, I planned on staying for 12 days but checked out the next morning. If you are just looking for a crash pad for the night, this will suffice anything for an extended period I would look elsewhere if I were you.

Booked advanced for the trip back in Sep 2013, on their website shows newly re-modeled, but not really, got the room that so old, very dirty shower has crack and a hole on the wall, carpet and bed sheet are dirty too, end up went to Spring Hill Suites next to them! Beware!!

Bare bone basic.Bring your own everything!
Not enough towels, no coffee maker, blowdryer, space or  customer care.Wont stay here anymore regardless of thier price.

Not the greatest place to stay, but the rates are not too expensive (about $50-60) per night and we basically needed a place to stay for our trip to Houston from San Diego. No frills here. Beds, tv, coffee, but no breakfast (not even continental)! They messed up on our reservation. I asked for a ground room floor for handicapped since my Dad has a little difficulty with his knees. They did find us a ground floor room, but the smoke alarm wasn't hooked up. Don't think we'll be staying here again!

        Pros:
Stayed last night, weekday rate of about $56 plus tax. Large room, office chair/desk. Hard wood floors. Microwave, safe and fridge. Flat screen tv. Good toiletries (Pantene shampoos). Free coffee. Clean and comfy bed. Located near a lot of restaurants.

        Cons:
My room had only one mirror which was in the bathroom. No big deal for me, but might be a big deal for families..?

My AC unit knob was broken, couldn't turn the temp up. We were freezing! So we turned it completely off, but luckily, we didn't sweat during the night.

Hotel is right next door to a strip club. This wasn't a problem for my husband (LOL!), but it might be a problem for families.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay for us. I wouldn't mind coming back again.

We are frequent guests at Red Roof Inn across the country. Last night we stayed in El Paso East and had an awesome experience. The room was great, the property was well maintained and best part was the service we received. Andy, the overnight shift front desk is the main reason for 5 star rating, he was super polite and helpful, I was in the lobby sitting and observed Andy handling check ins in the late evening line a pro, he also arranged for extra towels and was a pleasure. We chatted for a few minutes, this hard working young man is an asset to the location..,keep up the good work Andy!!! Honorable mention to Gilbert who checked is in.

Very disappointed in the room, the hotel states all rooms were remodeled but ours didn't look like it. The shower would back up and it would take forever for the water to drain. Their were brown stains on bathroom walls. The AC unit would cool room down but would make a lot if noise when you would turn it on.

The room walls need better insulation, we could hear our neighbors bumping music and other inappropriate noises.

My review is on the king suite.
We arrived at this location after a cross country drive. We were exhausted and anxious to shower.
When we checked in, we got one of the last available rooms. Our room was the handicapped access room as well as a king suite. It was spacious and clean. The bed was comfy and had plenty of pillows.
Maybe this location isn't the best choice if you are going to want a fancy breakfast.
It worked very well for us as we only wanted a hot shower and good night's sleep.
I like the new Red Roof remodel rooms with no carpeting and no dirty, gross comforters.
I would stay here again if I am driving through and needing a few hours of sleep.

Good value for the price. Our room was $65/night. The room was clean enough and the check in staff was friendly. Free wifi. No pet charge so our pups were FREE! There's also free coffee in the lobby in the morning.

Worst staff on duty,   they lie about  there price  from the sign overlooking the freeway,  they rather  send u away  then to take a third party reservation,  then the host tells me Why did you come back,  I told you I was not giving you a room his word, since when dose a dirty foo like that get the balls to act as if he is the owner , this place looks like a 3 to 4 star hotel but now I know why it's a 2 start should  be a 1 start , advice  get new staff  then u can charge 80 a night , I would have paid it if I was greeted with respect as I came in

I mean an inn is an inn right? This one was typical, nothing horrendous, nothing special. Let me warn you though ladies, this place is located not next to one but TWO strip clubs (excuse me, gentlemen's club). Perfect place to spend our anniversary right? Haha luckily for my boyfriend we went boot shopping beforehand and he was let off the hook :)

Red Roof Inn here in El Paso is a no frills hotel. the room is clean, very clean. the chair to sit and do my computer work exceeds many of the fancy hotels. I really like that. the TV it's a big flat very nice. the bathroom with granite counters is fine. it just has the minimum soap and shampoo, the towels are adequate, not the softest ever, but adequate. the price performance is excellent. so as a no frills hotel Red Roof is looking up
