decent for the money. But it is Super 8 and on the Eastside & right on I-10. A bit run-down but not bad for the price. Breakfast was actually pretty good. Can't complain, you get what you pay for.

Horrible! Hooker infested hotel. We had been traveling from San Diego to San Antonio and it was getting late so we decided to stop over. Expedia had this hotel rated 4 out of 5 stars. Nothing could be more misleading. We pulled up and checked it. The front was old and outdated , but clean enough. We got our key and proceeded to drive to the back set of buildings. First thing we noticed was a group of "women" (ladies of the night) running around.. It was almost 11pm. My husband wanted to leave immediately. I persuaded him to continue on and check out the room. We never made it in the room- as we rounded the corner by our room- several intoxicated men were rolling around fighting in the grass area in front of our room. That was all we could take. Went back up to the front and asked if they had any other rooms in the front of the motel. They didn't and couldn't refund our money since we booked online. This is NOT A FAMILY motel. Disgusting. We found a much better hotel across the highway.

The staff was friendly, but the rooms could use some good cleaning. I had to switch rooms because the first had a broken TV and dirty pillow cases. The new room was slightly better, but had signs of neglect as well. Breakfast is more of a snack rather than a meal.

I really showed up here on a whim, grabbed my stuff up to my room, and shut myself in for the night, so I can't say that I got to see much of the Super 8 grounds other than my front facing hotel room. In this I mean that I didn't see any hookers, but that's because my curtains were closed and I left quickly the next morning. I can only give insight into how my stay went, so here's the dirty (er, actually the clean):
One- the room was very clean and I had no complaints about the towels, tub, toilet, bedding, etc. In fact I was very pleased with my $40 night.
Two- I experienced very little noise and I slept very well despite moving the table in front of the door because I was feeling a little paranoid (hey I'm a young, attractive female; it's what you do).
Three- I was very happy with my complimentary breakfast the next morning of waffles, oatmeal, apples, yogurt, and toast. (I took extra stuff for snacks on the road. Shhhh!)
Four- The attendants working the front desk were very helpful the night of my late arrival, and the next morning upon my departure. For a Super 8, I couldn't ask for more.

However: when the night attendant asked me where I wanted my room, in the back or in the front, I asked which was a better location, to which she responded either. She did however place me in the front of the building (directly behind the main office), so I did not see anything beyond my front facing doorway. Could there be a troop of hookers roaming the grounds? Maybe, I just didn't see any.

Big Texas sized cockroaches up in here. Rooms are clean enough, but I swear that was the first time I saw roaches the size of rats.

It has a bed and we got a room for $41, so you can say it fit our needs.  Do not be fooled by the "deluxe breakfast" advertising,  unless toast and dry cereal is a special occasion for you. The broken water fountain made it seemed a little more ghetto than it actually was, but all in all it was alright.

The room looked alright, but I woke up with my shoulders, neck and chin welted with bedbug bites. Afterwards I saw two bedbugs on the bed.  The manager refunded my money later that day.  So I paid for the night with a couple week's worth of itchy bites; not worth it.

If I could give zero stars I would. The rooms are tiny and musty. The continental breakfast consisted of warm milk, stale bread, runny waffle batter and what I believe was suppose ti be frosty flakes cereal but was crushed dust. The maid was breaking up the bread and feeding the pigeons at the entrance to the breakfast area...which you know means pigeon poop on your shoes.  Don't stay here. Cheap but not cheap enough. I was quoted one price and charged a different price.  When I provided proof of their special offer, the Manager and a front desk clerk named Neil said "that isn't what they meant to quote me".
