BED BUGS!!!!! We got 2 rooms for 3 nights while visiting my sister for Christmas and our rooms had bed bugs!!! The manager was kind enough to give us a full refund, but we were very inconvenienced by having to change hotels, and especially having to quarantine all our belongings until they could be cleaned and rid of the possible bed bugs. Yuck!!!

The hotel is decently clean and the GM Gus is very helpful. Hotels.com screwed up our reservation and he was able to accommodate us happily. The front desk never has any pool towels and we didn't have enough in our room to be able to take down. The second night there the AC unit rattled enough to keep me and my family up half he night. The front desk had it taken care of before we got back. The pool was very clean except for piles of sand on the floor, but the hot tub was actually cooler than the air outside.

Best Westerns vary more from hotel to hotel than most chains. The owners seem to have a great deal of control over what accommodations are offered.
This location greeted me with a very clean room with updated decor and new furniture, including a wall-mounted TV. The rooms are the slightly oversized standard rooms that have a small table in addition to the beds, which is what we've come to expect out of a standard room in this day and age. A mini fridge was also available.
The beds were terrific. They were comfortable and supportive, and for once, the comforter was appropriate to the local climate, that is to say, it wasn't too heavy. Everything was in good working order, and you still get real toiletries instead of shampoo in a pouch and other cost-saving measures I now expect to put up with at budget-friendly hotels.
Breakfast was the disappointing "continental" style breakfast. If you've stayed at this class of hotel before, you already know what I'm going to list: bread, bagels, fruit, cereal, yogurt, and do-it-yourself waffles. The lack of protein available is my biggest complaint. At least the items here were of good quality, even if they aren't very exciting. Again, it's hard to expect more from a budget hotel, and I was generally satisfied with what they provided.
This Best Western is a great option for travelers on a budget who need somewhere clean and comfortable to stay for a few days. I know I'll happily use them again when I'm in the area.
