I didn't expect the Ritz, but I expected clean and it wasn't. There were crumbs all over the floor and used q-tips next to the microwave. YUCK!!! The room also reeked. It smelled like musty cigarette smoke and the entire hotel is non-smoking. I would not recommend staying here unless you have to.

This is the worst place I've ever stayed in my life. Avoid it if you can. The rooms are outdated by at least 30 years. There was trash on the floor in my room, the upholstery was ripped on one of the chairs, the complementary toiletries were previously used (the seals were broken), there were "small hairs" still on the floor of the bathroom from the previous guest, the curtains didn't close all of the way (I had to use clips to close them), the tv sound was broken, and the room smelled strange. To top it off, I couldn't sleep because I was so terrified that there were bedbugs. I left absolutely disgusted.

Great room for the price.  Not the Ritz, but clean and that's really all you should expect for how cheap the rooms are.

We stayed here for an anniversary and had a lovey time.  The hotel is located near the stockyards so we were able to enjoy great dinner choices and also we walked on the scenic river walk paths.  We wished we would have brought out bikes but instead, we just walked.

The hotel has a two room suite with TV's in both rooms, a couch and table in one and the bedroom had a two-person jacuzzi tub.  It was a lovely room that was quite and comfortable.

I see there are other reviews that are terrible but this was NOT our experience at all.  Maybe they have had a change in management or new help since those were posted.  We thought we would like to stay there again!

The breakfast was small but we came for the comfort of the room and the location.

The room was huge. I had 2 queens with a love seat  and mini-kitchenette (microwave, frig, sink, counter). It could stand some updating, but it wasn't bad. The night before I stayed in a completely up-to-date room, this room was a step down, but still nice.

They have a free breakfast with a large variety of items. The eggs were awful, but there were plenty of other choices.

    Also, free internet.

They had chocolate chip cookies at check in, that always earns a few points in my book!

    I would stay here again.

Had good prompt service upon arrival. There was a strange smell in our room that I couldn't quite put my finger on. Not a bad smell but it was almost like they were trying to cover up a bad smell. But on the positive side you did get used to whatever the smell was quickly and did not even notice it after 15 minutes. The included breakfast was ok. The coffee was cold but other than that it was edible.

This was the dirtiest Country Inn & Suites I have ever been to. The shower head came off during my shower, too... Very run down.

The facilities here are very clean; perhaps overly so.  Upon arriving, I was greeted by the strong scent of disinfectant in the lobby - I think it had just been cleaned.  I could also detect a trace of it in the room, but it was not enough to be an irritation.

The man at check-in was not very friendly; I felt like I was just taking time away from him playing Candy Crush.  The WiFi is free; it was not working when I first checked in, but it did work later in the evening.  (Luckily, there was an internet enabled-computer in the lobby.)

I had been on the road for a week, and this hotel had the best breakfast spread by far - there was the requisite hash browns, eggs, sausage (which were good) and pastries, but there was also yogurt and fresh fruit.  They even provide silverware (not plastic), which is a nice touch.

One downside to this hotel is that there is not a lot of interest in the immediate area.  There is a Mexican restaurant called Mercado Juarez  across the street; I didn't go there, but you can check the reviews on Yelp: yelp.com/biz/mercado-jua… .  If you are ok with this, then Country Inn & Suites is a fine place to stay.

Quaint place, very comfy beds, nice and helpful staff.  Free shuttle to Sundance and stockyards.  Right next to mercado juarez!  Was pricey on a busy weekend.
