Had a pretty nice hotel stay. Some pros and cons to keep in mind if you want to book here:
Front desk staff is nice and helpful.
Hotel room was clean. Bathroom was clean with no dysfunctions. Beds were comfortable enough, I just didn't understand the sleep number remote.
Location is quiet.
Better bring a car, because there are no restaurants around the hotel. That was a big thing for me because I was in Fort Worth on business and spent a lot of my time at the hotel or convention center (which was pretty remote with no restaurants around).
Food from their restaurant is pretty pricey and eh. A basic cheeseburger with fries was $9.

Nice property. rater huge and maze-like. Friendly staff (although a bit noisy maid crew outside the door). Sleep Number beds are in each room, but the remotes were hidden, so it was impossible to know unless you were looking for one of those Gideon things. Convenient to two major interstates.
However, the cons really, really overshadow all the pluses. The bathroom was a disaster... one of those toilets that takes five flushes to get the job done... a shower that practically trickles, and when the water does come out, it's not even hot...
Water stains on the ceiling... a TV from 1987... broken vending machines... Wifi is s-l-o-wwww and requires a complicated code for each log -in... poor channel selection on the old Philips TV... In short, it's just not what I've come to expect from a Crowne Plaza.

This hotel is now the Fort Worth South hotel and my experience was by far the worst experience that I have ever had with staying in a hotel. I will start by saying that I reserved a room from Thursday thru Saturday and it was over $100 per night which I paid and then when I checked it found the room to be dirty and not cleaned. The room didn't have a trash can at all and when you turned one the bathroom sink all the water just ran directly onto the floor. That night I noticed that the pool was out of order durning the entire stay, one of the elevators were not working and every night I stayed there every floor because I went to them all had no ice at all. One floor looked like they had removed the ice machine and left all the plumbing still sticking up through the floor. I asked the front desk all 3 nights if they were able to at least get me some ice and they were unable to provide any ice whatsoever. On the last day I was there I decided to order a pizza and called the front desk to ask for the number of a local pizza joint that delivers to the hotel and to my amazement they had no idea what places delivered which I couldn't believe that a hotel wouldn't have a list of local places that delivered to their hotel for their customers. The lady told me that she would have to look it us and call me back which she did an hour and a half later... At that point I had called around and found out by myself and to kick off the entire trip on the back of the building was a huge sign stating a room for $39.99 a night or a week for $249.99 and I couldn't believe that they charged me over $100 bucks a night. I brought this up to the front desk and since they already had my information they wouldn't give me that price but however did refund me $20 bucks a night for the "confusion"!!! Let me tell you the only confusion was on their end because they overcharged me for the room and the hotel was horrible and even if it was freeness I would never stay there again!!!!!

I recently stayed at the Crowne for a wedding in Fort Worth. There was a NASCAR race that weekend and a Lion's Club reunion being held at the hotel so it was completely booked and we could not check in early. They kindly held our bags and we were able to check in that night around midnight when we came back from the reception.
The front desk was very friendly and courteous. The hotel is like a maze to get to the elevators. We were on the 4th floor (room 413). The room itself was spacious and have sleep number beds (which I have at home so I was VERY excited about). The room had a flat screen TV. Everything seemed up to date and comfortable. Nothing fancy and more than got the job done.
The bathroom was a little bit dated. The toilets needed a couple of flushes to get going and the tub was a little spotty (whether it was discoloring or dirt I am not sure - I didn't shower there). The bathroom floor needs to be swept and mopped. It was not gross enough that I needed to be moved to a different room but it was noticeable.
I would definitely recommend staying at the Crowne if you can get a decent rate. Also, Don't forget to sign up for Priority Club. The perks always are nice when you stay at one of their hotels!
