I stayed at this hotel for four days and had a very good experience. The person working the front desk was very helpful when I let him know that I was not from Texas and wanted to find a good place to eat. He asked me what I was in the mood for and let me know exactly what was good, in the area and inexpensive. The room was very clean, had a flat screen TV and a DVD player attached. The wifi in the room was not free and I had to pay a one time fee to have the wifi for the whole week. The refrigerator and kitchen was very clean when I arrived but the one thing that had me scratching my head was that this was the first hotel I have ever stayed at that did not provide shampoo in the shower. The shampoo was available at the front desk by request there was plenty of soap in the shower but no shampoo, I do not know if this is the same for all extended stay hotels or if it was just this one but I was surprised to not see any shampoo.

Despite being overwhelmingly generic and in a lame part of FTW, this place was def both affordable and comfortable.  The downsides: hallways that reeked of smoke and bacon/french fry/something else smells, a broken treadmill, and undrinkable coffee.  The plus sides: a dvd player hooked up to every tv (yes!) and the mandatory free wifi.

Here we are.  I am working nights and I did not feel like having Luis drive us back to our apartment in Arlington, TX and it is Luis spring break.  We paid $137.98 for (3) nights all in.  The first night we were given room 231.  The tv was too archaic to have hook ups for Luis new PS3 player and since it is his spring break this was really important to him to have hook ups.  Management transferred us to room 119 and it does have hook ups, but the room reeks of smoke:( Yuck!  We have to run the a/c just to circulate the smoky air.  Thank goodness we like to sleep in a cool room  The room has a large refrig.  We are keeping Cokes and oranges.  We have been going to Lone Star Oyster bar and Chipoltle.  I was able to get an oil change around the corner at Goodyear, $34, expensive, but convenient!  Tomorrow we are getting a serpentine belt and rear shock attention on the mini van and since Goodyear is right around the corner from Extended Stay the service fellow will drop me off:)  So far this location is working for us, but still have the smoky smell.  It is quite even though there are some little boys who run around the complex w/o supervision.  Sadly for the young fellas hotel livin is just not conducive for child raising.  Some guest has a pitbull here.  The dog is friendly, but come on, it is a pitbull.  Sometimes the little fella has command of it?

Parking is ample here.  I will probably go to Central Market tomorrow. It is up by I-30 and this hotel is down near I-20.  It is 4.4 miles away.

The sheets are so cheap and plastic that i'll probably go to Anna's linens or Tuesday Morning and get some flannel sheets.  I really can't stand plastic sheets, but you get what you pay for.  There is a LaQuinta and Marriott Courtyard near hear, but I don't wanna pay there fees.  La Quinta is $109 after tax and the price goes up as their booking go up. I went to see a La Quinta room and the Extended Stay America room is much larger and more amenable for a claustrophobic person like myself.

The shower is awesome!   The water is plentiful and stays hot.  Luis said the water got cooler during his shower so you gotta take your shower in the middle of the day if constant hot water is important to you.It   is just like being under a rainfall.  The shower head is very high so you all of your body gets wet.   I left for work feeling awesome and happy.

Well management WOKE ME UP ON THE TELE THIS MORNING!:(  They asked if I would be staying and they want another $68 if we are?  Huh! We told the check-in girl that we would be staying (3) nights and she said that wil be $137.98.  Well as it turns out today's managers want another $68.99 for tonight b/c the initial lady miscalculated even though we went thru our entire itinerary with her and told her that we would be leaving Thursday.  She only charged us for (2) nights rather than the (3) that she said we could have at this rate.  I wish I had a tape recorder.  She also quoted this price prior to our coming.  She told Luis that she only had (1) room left when he talked to her initially.  He was so nervous that we were gonna loose the (1) room.  I told him calm down.  I used to be in sales.  Well if you l like being low-balled then this is your hotel.

When the Goodyear people come to pick us up, then we are gonna go look at the Hyatt and LaQuinta.  I will be doing a yelp on the Goodyear as well.  Read that one.

I would definitely stay at the Extended Stay America again b/c it is so close to the hospital that I am working at occasionally.  It was also quiet during the time that we stayed.  I did not have to walk very far from the front door to our room and I liked that as well.  I am searching some other hotels for a better rate though since I am just coming for work.

Stop!  Do not book a stay here.  Some rooms have been updated but do not expect that updated room.  So many complaints about the stay.  The room was filthy, the rugs were stained, the couch smelled like a barn, the laminated floor was torn and both of my parents tripped and one fell.  I reported this serious incident at the front desk and nothing was done.  No report filed and no floor repairs made.  Mildew in the bathroom, fuzzy television reception and unlocked entrances to the hotel for all kinds of people to enter during non-business hours.   Dogs barking all night (pet-friendly hotel) and dog feces littered the hallways as well as a lingering fried fish smell everyday.  Massive wires hanging out from under the AC unit.  I went to Corporate and was able to vacate early but not without the hotel charging my credit card soo many times that my bank called me.  It took several calls and a lot of valuable time to get the charges credited.  Save yourself the hassle and do not stay here.

The chair was split wide open, hopefully this gives you an idea. But it's right next to food carts. So this makes it hip.

I ended up staying here after getting a $33/night deal on Priceline. The room itself, a queen deluxe suite, was clean. The only problem I has was the room smelled musty and like mildew during my entire weeklong stay. We got rid of our used towels, bought a candle, and even propped open door occasionally but the smell wouldn't go away. I guess this is another example of getting what you pay for :(

DON'T EVER STAY HERE. I don't normally write bad reviews unless I was extremely unhappy with the experience hence this rating.

This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The previous guest had left the toilet clogged and the hotel never bothered to unclog and clean it. When we arrived at the room and notified the front desk, the maintenance guy blamed it on us. Appalled, we demanded a refund and the hotel refused. Not only this, the pillow shams had black streaks all over them. This is the most disgusting hotel with the most horrendous customer service. Just to reiterate one more time: DON'T EVER STAY HERE.

Having stayed at several different extended stay hotels, this is the best bang for your buck. Full kitchen with oven and stovetop.  Fitness room with WORKING equipment and a nice clean pool. I got the studio suite whuch includes a recliner for my PM naps and a sofa sleeper for friends that come visit. Closet was big enough for a clothes horse like me and lots of drawers ladies. It could use an update but I bet once they do that they will be increasing the rate.
Have to take a star away for the multiple weeks of incorrect billing or somebody forgot to bill on the right day so I got billed for 8 days instead of 7. Just totally messed up my company reimbursement for the first 6 weeks. Once the new manager Jessica took over my billing I magically got billed correctly.  Thanks to her. Highly recommended. Thanks Fort Worth. It was fun while it lasted

Easy to get to, clean, comfortable room. Right next door to Target. Breakfast is instant oatmeal, muffins, granola bars, and coffee. I did an Express Deal with Priceline for $36 and am extremely pleased with the room. Front desk is helpful and nice. Would definitely stay here again.
