      I recently traveled to Fort Worth to meet with a vendor and I stayed at this hotel. I left my room to go to dinner the first night and I was unable to re-enter it due to some sort of lock malfunction. They parked me in an adjacent room where I spent a fitful night sleeping in my clothes on top of the bed in there. The hotel was not able to re-open the door until the next morning as their maintenance person was unavailable. I was late for a planned 8am meeting the next day.

      The manager comped the room for both nights, although the front desk needed to be reminded of that and the first bill they gave me included a charge for the second night. They also gave me a $25 gift card to Starbucks since the free room benefits my (huge) employer and my employer wasn't inconvenienced by this at all. I was thinking more along the lines of a voucher for a free night's stay in the Hilton chain, but I guess he wasn't thinking along the same lines.

      The breakfast was so-so. I am a bread and fruit person when it comes to breakfast and the cut-up fruit had a funny taste to it and a couple of the pieces were well past their prime. The room was clean. The toilet in the room they transferred me to had a problem with the flapper valve, but if I flushed it a couple of times it would eventually seat correctly and stop running. Their maintenance guy was asked to look at it, but apparently he figures that it's ok for guests to flush the toilet a few times to make the toilet stop running.

      I don't plan on staying at this hotel again should I need to have additional meetings in Fort Worth with this vendor. The manager did what he could to make up for a situation that never should have happened in the first place. It wasn't enough.

      The renovation at this hotel came out great.  Checked in last night and had a great nights sleep on the new mattresses.  Woke up this morning and really enjoyed my workout in the fitness center.  The staff is super friendly and I love that they have Direct TV so I can use the guide when deciding what to watch

      Stayed here for about 3 days. The room was ok. The room was set up as a big studio room with bed and sofa at opposite ends. The breakfast was good the usual. The staff was very friendly. And best of all the hotel is right across the highway from a mall. Grab your Hilton points here.

      My family stayed here on a Friday night because we had an early Saturday morning event and home is just far enough away to not want to leave that early.  We really enjoyed the stay.  The room was very clean and spacious.  They recently had DirecTV installed, so that was a huge upgrade to the typical channel selection and cable quality.  The pool and sauna were well maintained (maybe a little over board on the chlorine).  The breakfast was honestly the freshest I have had at a Hampton (hundred of nights in Hampton Hotels over the years).  They were restocking it even before it emptied.  The biggest thing for me was the friendliness of the staff.  Everyone that passed us had a very warm and genuine hello.  Also, we hit Fort Worth a little earlier than expected (about 9AM) with plans to spend the day outside.  Unfortunately, it started raining as we were getting into town so we had nothing really to do before check-in.  I asked if there was a way that we could get a key to use the pool for a couple of hours until lunch.  Instead, they found us a ready room and let us check in completely for no additional charge.  The only two things that keep this from being a 5 are the price (over $100 after taxes for a weekend night on the West Side of Fort Worth - so nowhere near the airport - was a bit much) and the internet access.  It was miserably slow even by hotel standards.

      So it's hard to give a budget hotel 5 stars in my book but this one is as close as it gets.  The staff is exceptionally friendly no matter the time of day.  The room was very clean in all aspects.  Pool and hot tub were clean, well chlorinated,   Over a few night stay there was no exceptional noise or large crowds.  The building is well secured and required key cards at all doors except the front 24 hours a day.  The front locked down at night as well.  Parking was no issue, for the few nights we were there the lot was 1/2 full, maybe 3/4 full,  Parking lot does have two ways in and out which makes it a bit easier for locals to smash and grab but on the backside so many rooms look into the parking lot they would have to be brazen.  If you are working on this side of town or within a 15 minute drive I advise this is one of the better hotels out there.

      There is nothing great about this hotel. I have nothing against Hampton Inns but this one is particularly unwelcoming. The folks working here are fine but the decor is really bad & the room itself feels cold & in need of redecorating! Upon returning to the room at 3:00pm we find it still hasn't been made up. We left at 9:00am! This is not a mid priced hotel! This is a cheap hotel. I really dislike this place. Yuk!

      Bottom Line:  Clean and comfortable facility with large rooms but not for light sleepers.

      I've stayed in about five different Hampton Inns in the last year.  One was totally ghetto while the rest were perfectly comfortable. Overall, I thought this hotel was fine for my business trip.  If you are thinking about staying here, here is some information you may find helpful:

      - Convenient location to I-35.  Several decent restaurants within a five minute drive.
      - There is ample, free parking.
      - Large rooms with a big desks are great for business travelers.
      - Hotel has breakfast in the morning.  Not gourmet but plenty of variety.
      - They always have coffee and tea in the lobby.
      - The staff is pleasant.
      - The decor in common areas is fresh and up to date.  I found my hotel bathroom to be a little generic but it was fine for a business trip.
      - Free wi-fi or you can pay $5 and upgrade to a better connection.

      The biggest downside to this hotel is its loud.  My biggest complaint was the road noise from the interstate but my coworkers also had complaints of elevators dinging and doors slamming.  Luckily i am not a light sleeper, but I did find this hotel to be nosier than most.

      Great mid-priced hotel. Large spacious rooms, great staff. Free wired/wireless Internet in the rooms and common areas.

      Nice pool/whirlpool/workout room. Super nice, except I really hate the Philips flatscreen HDTVs that can't preserve aspect ration of standard def channels.
