great place to relax after a long day @ work.

would be 5/5 if:

1. more chicken/turkey/veg options at evening snacks
2. better wine/beer selection at evening snacks

Surprisingly a nice hotel. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a decent room in a good area.

Don't order food from outside establishments unless you have someone to help you carry it!! Had to run through a lightning storm to meet the food delivery guy at the front desk and was told by the front desk that it was for "my security". Oh really so running through a rainstorm and lightning crashing down around me is secure to you? All she wanted to do was argue with me about why it was for the guests security when it was a full blown sever storm going on. And if I wanted to pay for delivery and then yet walk to the front desk I would have just ordered take out and skipped the tip and the delivery drivers time. It's these little things that get on my nerves about the rules these places enforce. Would I go back Yes it was a above average stay. Next time though I wouldn't be running through the storm risking getting struck by lightning they could either deliver to the room or don't deliver it at all.

This is the only place in town I could find that would accept pets. The staff was amazingly friendly and welcoming. 5 miles from stockyards.

We recently stayed here for a weekend while on a trip to Fort Worth for a bodybuilding competition in downtown.  The hotel was about 10mi away down 35 and we had no problems going to & from.

The hotel lobby & room was bright and clean.  Room had a kitchenette which was a requirement for us.  Nice little living room area to relax in then doors that closed the bedroom with an additional tv in there.  We arrived about an hour before check-in and the front desk clerk had no issues with finding me a room that was ready.  Great guest service.  Hot breakfast had a basic variety of eggs, sausage, biscuits, and diy waffles.

Overall a nice hotel for a very inexpensive price, would definitely stay again!

I stayed here for a night while moving cross country and finding this hotel was such a relief after staying in a not so clean hotel the night before. The parking lot was big enough for our large moving truck and the room was very clean. The room even had a small kitchen and living area. There are also a lot of restaurants and a gas station by the hotel which is convenient for travelers. The staff was friendly, clean hotel that allows pets (hard to find!) and in a good area.

Poor customer follow up (Mary) from the front desk.  That is enough to keep me away for good.

PROS-  Customer relations, Helpful staff,  Very comfortable bedding and pillows, decent shower water pressure.
CONS- Outside parking under construction,  not enough garbage pails for a two room suite. room not serviced properly.

The front desk was very nice and helpful. We wanted a room near the pool, they gave us one, but the key card mechanism for the door was not working properly. She apologized and since we had to get a room further away, she upgraded us to a two room suite for the same price. Everything was what a hotel should be including the front desk printing out my boarding passes for me. As stated above, parking lot under construction, but I didn't drive, so not an issue for me. Only problem (which may have just been miscommunication) I wasn't ready for room service so I had my girlfriend tell the maid not to service the room. When I was done getting ready for the day, I told the same maid that it was okay now to service the room, but when I came back to the room later only the garbage was emptied. The table still had some crumbs on it from our breakfast and the beds (that I made quickly and sloppy) were not remade properly. Also only garbage pails are in the bathrooms, so I had to keep running back to the bathroom or carry a pail around with me if I plan to make something in the kitchen or hang in the living room. But these issues are minor for what I feel is important for a good hotel, so I"m giving them 4 stars. Nice overall stay.
