This place is ok......but it damaged my already bad back......n what's the point of a hotel.....if the sleeping isn't good. First night I dint sleep....the next day I had them bring up a wood board for between the mattress n box spring.....not great but better.....other than this place destroying my life with their mattress, I think I'd come back, but not for more than a week.......ouch

Just another hotel.  Here for one night, rooms were big with a kitchenette and a sitting area.  Breakfast buffet was free, can't complain.  FREE Internet...a major plus.

I am staying here for work (Mon thru Fri). I like the Homewood Suites better but it's the same concept. Free breakfast and 'dinner' (evening meal is Monday thru Thursday only). Including free beer and wine. The frig is louder than I would like if I was on vacation but still nice enough. Parking isn't great. But I would rather stay here than at the Hampton next door.

Now I didnt get to spend much time in my room which is a really good thing because once again I got the short end of the flipping stick.....WTF, yo???

So my business associates and co-workers swear by this place. They say that it was remodeled and that there is a no smoking policy (which is a major plus) but their rooms were big and spacious and I got the walk in closet apparently.

This was very disappointing. Once again if I ever have to go back I am going to mention the room and make sure that I dont get another closet for a room......grrrrrrr to the max!

Very disappointed.. Staff is not as friendly as in most hotels. Hotel room carpet and furniture are nasty and soiled. After I checked in, I discovered the linens on the bed had not been changed (very wrinkled sheets with lots of body hair!) I complained immediately and then changed rooms.. I had stayed here last year and thought I would give this hotel another chance. Nothing has changed, So I will not be staying here again!

Do not stay here if you can help it! I travel to DFW for week monthly and have had stayed here on 4 recent occasions because the Marriott Speedway was full. It is a real disappointment for a Residence Inn, which I typically find very consistent elsewhere.  My company's travel agency says that they receive neg feedback on this hotel weekly and have made numerous complaints to no avail.  Our offices are right across the street and there's not much out there, so I guess they know they've got you.     Here's a break down of each visit if you're interested:

Visit 1:  Room dark and dirty.  One dirty fork in kitchen and one dirty coffee mug.  That's  it for the kitchenware.  Also, found LONG BLACK HAIRS in my BED(i'm a blond) and stains on the sheets.  The rugs were stained and the furniture soiled.  The staff was not terribly friendly. I will say that the lobby was reasonably maintained.  Complained about my room and was moved.

visit 2:  approximately 6 months later, I was back; they had remodeled and the rooms were brighter.   This time in a large, nice suite and I found the staff to be much friendlier this time.  However, the bathroom tub still had the USED SOAP and shampoo from the previous guest and there were FLYING ANTS throughout my room.     I woke up having crushed a few during my sleep...pretty gross.  My colleague who was also staying indicated he had the same problem and checked out early.  I m a director of quality for a svcs company, so when i received a computer generated survey a few days later, I responded with constructive feedback what I thought was a fair and balanced way...didn't even receive an acknowledgment of receipt back.

Visit 3:  A month, was back again (because I am a gluten for punishment).  The staff remembered me and were very polite and welcoming.  This time, I received a small, closet sized room.  The bathroom had USED DENTAL FLOSS ON SINK, HAIRS in TUB, and the kitchenette sink had a WAD of MUCUS clinging to the dirty, unwiped drain.  Also, the water would not go down when I tried to rinse it.  I complained immediately.  No apologies;  no sign of embarrassment...just we'll fix it and there are no other avail rooms.

Visit 4:  Last week Jun /2014:  My travel agent called over and explained my prior bad experiences and indicated that they get reg complaints when they have to put employees over there.  She requested a nicer room for me this time.  Here's what I got:  puny, closet room;  FLYING ANTS-EVERYWHERE;  50% of TV channels were grainy and/or had white noise in the background;  hair in the tub; and a dirty coffee pot from prior user.  I went to groc store and bought cleaning supplies and PERSONALLY CLEANED THE BATHROOM so I knew it was clean.  Un-freakin believable. I politely asked them on my way into office if they would please look into TV.  They said yes, were very politte...Came "home";  still not working; no follow up, no note, no nothing but the bill and the dirty pot and the flying bugs.  That was it;  I don't care how far I have to drive in to find an open hotel, I will NEVER BE BACK and will stay at a non-Marriott if I have to, regardless of my status.  Fortunately, I was able to secure the Speedway for my next trip this week.  Much better.

Great customer service...thanks Fred and Mimi!  Rooms are clean and well kept.  Located on the north side of town.  Nice size pool.  The exercise room is too small for my liking.  Breakfast and dinner are good.

I spent two nights at this hotel and was pleased with my room. It was great to have many of the conveniences of home. There was lots of space and almost everything seemed clean. The appliances could use an upgrade, however. The coffee pot was a little scary; I didn't use it because it had some sort of dried matter in it.

Breakfast on both mornings was very good and filling. There was a wide variety of breakfast items from which to choose.

The exercise room was a little small and the layout of the lobby area not the best. In addition, there was a problem with the televisions, which I later learned from overhearing another guest, was also experienced in other rooms. When I alerted the person at the front desk about the problem, he did not adjust the bill and instead blamed it on "wind." I suppose they don't include such things in the cost of the room. He handed me the general manager's business card...thanks.
