I stayed here, in the past, and it has always been good to me. The staff is always friendly, and I know I can always get a good night's sleep, whenever i'm here.
The updated and modern furnishings are always a great touch. The beds are soft, and the staff is always ready to bring you extra pillows, should you need them. The free breakfast is great and save me a couple bucks, from spending it elsewhere on grub. The best part is that is completely non-smoking, so there is no smoke odors in the rooms. With a complimentary shuttle, to the surrounding areas, you can't go wrong.

This hotel was a spectacular surprise. Convenient, inexpensive , friendly...and above all...spotless! I look forward to staying here every time I am in Houston. Jo at the front desk was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Give this hotel your patronage.....you will not regret it. Hope to be back very soon.

Our second stay here. The immediate neighborhood is kind of sketchy, but it also is 5-10 minutes drive from restaurants and bars on Westheimer and other main streets. It is minutes from the center of downtown. The rooms are very spacious. The bed was comfortable, the towels were soft, and there a large HD TV. Free breakfast was above average (eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, hard boiled eggs, cereal, juices, bagels, bananas, and canned fruit. Tea and coffee too.) Overall, this is a really good hotel if you have business in or near downtown. We will stay again.

We stayed here the end of September. Close to our planned attractions. We visited the aquarium, a celebrity chefs restaurant La Fisheria, and even went to a Puerto Rican fesTival (we're not PRs but those people are fun!).
Ok back to the hotel. Front desk and lounge were nice, modern, and clean. Kitchen area and free hot breakfast was good. But the best part of the stay was their beds. OMG! Theyre heavenly! Have you ever slept so deep that you wake up thinking you're in your favorite place? I woke up thinking I was in my parents house in my childhood bedroom! I asked the guy in the front desk for the brand but he said he didn't know, Liar! Lol. Overall great experience, not perfect because we didn't swim in their pool and because it's a bit too close to the 45fwy.

Clean rooms with comfortable beds. Convenient location downtown for our purpose. I only found one working soda machine dispensing water after visiting several throughout the hotel. Complimentary breakfast was standard, but nice, and coffee was good. Friendly staff. A little overpriced.

Very little was done to ensure repeat business here.
The manager was coarse and unwilling to accommodate a 1 pm checkout. Did not offer any option on this Sunday check out
Room was clean and hotel was far from booked. Feel that for the price and hype there could have been a closet. Although our room was the handicapped accessible room and may have been the only one with no closet

The location is actually nice because its not really downtown, as described by Best Western. The lobby area is tastefully decorated and the rooms are decorated with the same scheme. I would describe it as modern.
The front desk is very friendly and helpful.
Note: There is only one driveway to this building and it has a steep grade as you enter the driveway, so if you have a car with a low profile front end, it might be painful.
