Brand new, very clean rooms from floor to ceiling, very friendly staff! 42 inch LG HDTV in every room, ALL channels are in glorious HD, can't say the same for a lot of hotels I've stayed at. They have a happy hour with free drinks and food in the evening. Elevator is super slow, though. The hotel is only three floors, so it's quicker to take the stairs to you room if you're going to and leave your room day to day during your stay. Only time I've used the elevator is when I brought my luggage up because I had to.. No way I could bring all my things down three flights of stairs! So if you're fit and would like a little exercise just walk up the stairs if your room is on the 2nd or 3rd floor. It's much quicker. I still have five nights left here, but so far I'm impressed and it takes a lot to impress me in hotels because I'm a hotel snob haha.

Awesome stay! Still has a "new" feel.. Stayed in a suite that was perfect along with a reasonable price compared to others in the Houston area... Gym and pool are perfect a size for an overnighter, 42" TV, microwave, mini fridge and spacious bathroom. I would highly recommend!

Amazing stay for the price in terms of quality, cleanliness, and comfort. Stayed here for 6 nights with my bf in one of the King Suites and couldn't have found a better hotel. Everyone is very helpful and friendly and you even receive a freshly baked cookie upon arrival (oatmeal raisin or chocolate chip to be exact). We checked in a little earlier so, the cookies weren't ready when we got there but David (who is super nice and welcoming) gave us each 2 cookies instead of 1! I mean who doesn't want an extra free cookie?
Our King Suite room was spacious with great modern decor all around. There are extra outlets everywhere for all your devices and the bathroom is very roomy with enough lighting, and a closed door that greatly separates it from the rest of the room. Some hotel bathrooms are so small and not very modest in location so, I really appreciated how hugely divided the bathroom was from the room itself. The shower has glass sliding doors and those who are tall will appreciate the size. Towels were plentiful which is great because some hotels are so stingy with their towels (why must hide your towels?!).
Fridge, microwave, and coffee maker were all standard. The only defect of the room was that our safe box didn't work but they had a technician come as soon as he could to check it out and David offered to change rooms for us. It wasn't too serious so, we just stayed and lived dangerously without the safe box (THUG LIFE). The huge HD tv was mounted so it could turn from the lounging area to the bed for maximum entertainment. This was a really nice touch. Room itself was comfortable overall. They even have a fitness room that actually carries free weights up to 40 pounds with two treadmills, an elliptical, and two other some weight machines for arms. There are towels and water in the fitness room for your workout. I throughly appreciated this as we know it's hard to stay relatively active on vacation and eating like there is no such thing as calories. Even though I only worked out twice during my whole stay, it was there and better than no workout. The pool was also wonderful for a light workout/dip and tanning. Not a huge pool because it only goes to 4ft but still nice and clean.
Breakfast is early from 6:00-9am on weekdays and 7am-10am on weekends. They serve hot breakfast so, each day varied from sausage patties/links to bacon and hash browns or home fries to biscuits and French toast sticks/crossiants. The scrambles eggs were not real eggs as they were probably from liquified or powered eggs but hey, I wasn't expecting an organic range-free chicken farm in the back. There is even a waffle maker in the shape of Texas with toppings of your choice. The rest is the usual bagels, cereal, juice, pastries, yogurt and fruit kind of mix. There are plenty of plastic utensils and plates/bowls and condiments that are open in that area for you to grab for your room which was appreciated. Just don't try to open the yogurt fridge as it is locked after breakfast hours and you will look like a failed yogurt theft (not that this happened to me or anything...just saying). This hotel also has happy hour on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 5-7 with wine and beer. Wings were on one day and pizza on another. Great for a quick snack/being greedy.
Location was safe and sound, and that is what ry prompted us to choose this hotel. Although it is right next to the Sam Houston Tollway, a quiet sleep was not a problem whatsoever. The place has only been opened for 6 months so, it's extremely well kept and friendly. Hopefully it can remain this way within the next few years as we hope to visit Houston again!!

Stayed here last night on my work trip to Houston and was completely blown away. Maybe they just did a remodel or something, but everything was fresh. I travel a lot for work and this is one of the best I've seen in a while. Nice(ish) area, it is Houston after all, and right off the beltway so that's good. Really nice room with a glass shower, wood floor entryway, sitting area with a nice little couch and coffee table, and the bed was just awesome. They also had a good size LCD that was mounted on a swivel which was great when you wanted sit in the living room area and just turn the tv. Free wifi, free breakfast, and a nice little workout room were awesome perks. Anytime I ever go back to Houston, I am definitely going to go back no matter where I have to be in the city. This Comfort Suite beats out all the hotels I've stayed at in the Galleria and Downtown without question.

Comfortable bed, clean room, space to spread out, and friendly staff was just what we needed after a full day of driving. Breakfast selection was good, although not many options for gluten intolerance. My only complaint is when you turn on the bathroom light the fan immediately comes on too and it's loud enough to wake the dead!

This place passes a white glove inspection of cleanliness. Its all new, nothing fancy, just what a hotel should be. If you have to visit that awful part of town, stay here, without a doubt, best option.
Free breakfast feast each morning, waffles, pastries, bagels, fruit, cereals, eggs, bacon, sausage, yogurts, etc.
I missed it, but I heard they have happy hour in the evenings.
Staff was 100% helpful and friendly. I have nothing bad to say about this hotel.
