Urban, modern hotel boasts an immaculate city view within the Energy Corridor. Exceptional customer service that aims to please. Checked into  two bedroom suite, immediately noticed the bathroom had been surface cleaned and hairs were all over the shower. One call does it all,Exec.Housekeeper sent housekeeping to scrub down the bathroom and service any other needs we had. Upon leaving for the day and entering our room for the evening,we returned to find a darling fruit/goody basket with a note apologizing for our initial experience. This hotel knows the value of the hotel experience, delighted to recommend!

I don't think I've ever had a more enjoyable hotel experience. Great prices, huge suites, free quality breakfast, free daily happy hour with OPEN BAR, and extremely friendly staff. To give you an example of how friendly the staff is, this morning after breakfast was over, a staff member spotted me and asked if I had had breakfast yet. When I said no, he offered to re-open the buffet just for me. Amazing.

We were very pleased with our visit. Stayed 2 nights (Fri/Sat) the weekend before Christmas. The rooms are nice, clean, and have attractive decor and colors. A nice wet bar, granite counter tops, and the bathroom is just the right size, not too big, not too small.
Free self-parking in well-lit garage and the grounds were well kept with very few people around (no one walking through property/no gas station on corner-only people who should be there, guests).
The beds were so comfy and we never heard any noise from inside the room.
I have stayed at 4 or 5 different E.S. and this was my best experience of them all. The photos previously posted are exactly what you will find.

My husband and I have stayed at this Embassy Suites several times and consider it our new go-to hotel for quick weekend getaways.

The staff is always friendly and quick to resolve problems - in fact, the level of service is what you would expect from a much pricier chain.

We love, love, LOVE the buffet breakfast and the manager's reception. Both are amazing perks. The hotel itself is very clean and well kept (it's fairly new, according to a staff member we spoke with who says it was built in 2009) and the rooms are spacious and elegant.

Parking is easily accessible in an adjacent garage with a covered walkway to the doors, or, for $10, you can have the valet park for you.

The location is perfect, too - close to everything, but not TOO close: The hotel is bracketed by an office building and a field, so there's a feeling of privacy. You won't have random non-guests sneaking through. You WILL have a bit of a drive if you're going anywhere, though - even if you want some late-night takeout. So there's a tradeoff, but honestly, we don't mind.

Check out the pool when you're here, too - or the workout room, which is basic but adequate. And I definitely recommend upgrading to a top floor corner suite if its available. The view is nice! :)

The only thing Embassy Suites could do better is provide free wifi. $10 per day is crazy, especially since free wifi is an industry standard now. Still, we find ways to deal with our connectivity needs, and we definitely will be choosing this location for all our future Houston needs.

My wife and I stayed there this weekend and were impressed with all aspects of the hotel from a perfect room and most of all the most courteous staff of any hotel we have been in many years.  The staff went out of their way to accommodate our every requests to even letting me use an empty room after checkout to take a shower after playing golf (3pm).  Management I am sure is why everyone from the cooks to the front desk treat guest as their most important  commodity.

If you don't stay here when in west Houston, you are missing a special treat.

Nice, clean hotel, friendly staff, but don't bother visiting the restaurant - I've had better food at Denny's.  If you can't make a decent lobster bisque, don't put it on the menu.  Both the shrimp AND the mushrooms in the spring rolls were overcooked, and the onion soup was heavy on the onions, but light on the flavor (as in none!).

It's a shame that such a nice hotel has such lousy food.  However the waitstaff was very friendly, very conscientious, and very helpful.

Overall, I gave the hotel 3 stars because while the rooms, the staff, and the service is great, you have to find somewhere else to eat.

I stayed at this hotel once a week for about 2 months.  The customer service is outstanding. We were greeted by name upon check in at every single visit.  The waiters and bartenders remembered all of our preferences.  They really pay attention to details! There is happy hour everyday, and if you miss it, just ask and they will give you free drinks.  The rooms are large and room-y, stay on a premium floor if possible.

I've stayed in a LOT of Embassy Suites over the years, and they can vary a good deal in the upkeep of the property and level of service. This one was 5 star in both.

Getting in around 7 p.m., we were greeted with genuine enthusiasm by the front desk staff. When my co-worker asked about all the empty parking places up front being blocked off, she was told that valet parking was extra. She raised an eyebrow - the silent "really?" - and then was told, oh, let us take care of that for you. Free valet parking. Done. My clerk said he was sorry I had missed the complementary happy hour - would I like a voucher for a drink at the bar? Sure..

The place is super modern, gorgeous, and neat. The suites are very spacious and well appointed. Nothing too remarkable, but everything still looks new.

In the morning we had the same courteous staff in the lobby and restaurant - have I been to the buffet before? Could he explain anything to me? Did I find everything I needed? Well, are you out of bananas? Nope, sorry - more bananas appeared.

Ok, it' was only parking, and a smile, and a drink, and a banana. But when you travel as much I do, a beautifully appointed affordable hotel with staff who go out of the way to be top-notch is more rare than you would think.

Stayed there this past weekend. This was my second stay here in two years. One thing was the same, Yolanda. She has this place #1 on my customer service radar.

All of my "requests" were honored upon check in (which is rare for them to even be read at some hotels).

Every time I called downstairs for something it was sent right up.

The staff was attentive and you could tell they were all there to do a job and do it well!

I would stay here over and over! I am a native to Houston, so I really don't have a need for in town accommodations. However, when I do, I will be going here.

I can't emphasize how great the service was. Anyone can charge you $150 a night for a "decent" hotel but it's the customer service that makes you feel like you spent $500 for one night!

The happy hour was great! The brunch was even better! Made to order french toast and omelets!

Also for mother's day they gave all the mother's a rose at brunch! Can you say AWESOME! And please keep in mind the brunch was free !

Will be back again soon for a staycation!

Sabrina was also very nice! Great service overall!

Wow, the staff here is AMAZING! Yolanda and Jay at the front desk were so friendly and welcoming. We travel quite a bit and i have to say that I think this hotel exceeded out expectations and they really care about their customers. Our room were also very clean. If we ever return to Houston we will be staying here!

Stayed for a week while on business. Everything was clean, staff was friendly. I will definitely stay here again when I find myself traveling to the Energy Corridor.

Good fitness center, parking is free and easy,, got a code for free WiFi at check-in. The only thing I can complain about is Houston traffic, but I don't think I can blame the hotel for that one.

Fun open bar from 5:30-7:30.

One of the few hotels in the area where I don't switch back to 4G LTE because its faster. (My pictures aren't going to instagram themselves)

You've got a great selection for breakfast. The traditional American fare with some new-wave no-carb fanciness (ice cubes).

The beds are great for all sorts of activities. I'm not going to tell you how I know this, but the ceilings are too low for you to jump on the bed safely. Also the handicap rooms are HUGE. And there are bars in the shower!

Can't complain about room service. It's food. being delivered. to your room. at all hours. Unfortunately, they will not drive out to taco cabana (or whataburger) across i10 and bring back some tacos.

Free parking too.

Very nice hotel in the energy corridor especially for the price. Lobby is well appointed and staff was very friendly. Check in and check out were both a breeze.
They offer complimentary wi-fi in the lobby which is nice. Only wish they would have it in the room as well. Not cool to not have free wi-fi in room especially these days.

They also offer free managers reception in the evenings from 4-6 I think. They had salsa, chips, queso and some fruit one night and chicken nuggets and dips/chips the other night. Nothing thrilling but something to munch on while sitting and relaxing. They also offer free well drinks, certain beers and red or white wine. I tried a margarita and it was pretty awful. I'm not sure what kind of tequila they use, but it must be pretty cheap. I did not finish that drink and did not care to try something else after that experience. My wife tried the white wine and she said it tasted like wine from a box. If we go again, I may stick with just the beer.

The rooms are nice and all suites at this location. There is a living area with a couch, chair and desk area for working along with a flat screen tv. There is also a wet bar, with coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave outside the bathroom. The bathroom has a bath/shower combination and only one vanity. The bed is comfortable and had plenty of pillows on it. We slept great while there and I had no complaints about the bed.

You also receive complimentary breakfast buffet at Embassy Suites. This was a welcome change from most places where you are lucky to get some muffins, cereal or the like. We had choices of cooked to order eggs or an omelet, bacon, sausage links, pancakes, coffee, oj, apple juice, cereal, hash browns, fresh fruit, and oatmeal.
Everything I tried tasted good and the county potatoes or hash browns were really good. They were well seasoned and cooked just right. The bacon was cooked well and there was plenty of it. Great breakfast especially considering it was included with room price.

Considering all the things you get for free here, this is a great hotel. Staff is very warm and friendly. Free happy hour, free breakfast, and a great room. It's nice to have a suite for the same price as a regular room. We will definitely return to stay here if in the area. Nice amenities for the price you are paying.

Stayed in the 2nd week of May 2014.

The breakfast and diner, a little pricey but fair value, are pretty good and worth staying in for.  On this front it is better than most business hotels at this cost.  There are also quite good restaurants within an easy drive as well.

Wifi is not free but parking is plentiful.

I left with a serious case of bedbug bites that showed up on the last day of my week long stay, too late to do anything about it.  It is something that will occur during very frequent travel and not dangerous however the number of bites was ridiculous.  Be wary.

I stayed at this hotel for 14 nights and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. I arrived around 11am, and the staff (who were extremely friendly throughout my stay) were very accommodating and checked me in.

The room was nice, clean and spacious. I only had one complaint, it had no safe, which was a little inconvenient. They did have a room near the reception which had safety deposit boxes (with 24/7 access and you keep the key) but the boxes themselves were small. Anything bigger than a 7in tablet (iPad mini size) won't fit.

Location was both good and bad. Good because its right on Katy freeway, bad because that highway gets pretty busy during rush hour.

They had free WiFi everywhere which was great, and free guest parking. Breakfast was OK does the job but could be improved (orange juice is out of a vending machine not fresh)

I would definitely stay at this hotel again when I'm back in Houston!

I usually stay here when on business to TX  A Great downtown location, very nice people and comfortable enough clean rooms. Nice lobby bar, convenient restaurant in the hotel and great places to eat nearby. Also next to a mall that although not the best mall, still has some convenient stores and services.

The rooms was very clean and large. The staff is wonderful but one complaint.  Check in is 3pm and I arrived after 4 and room still not ready yet. Staff was slow in getting us in the room and after a long hot day, pretty annoying to be sure.

The breakfast includes a lot of choices, and the eating area is pleasant.  Wifi was good and lots of restaurant choices in the area. Free parking, wifi, good pool and fitness center.

This was one of the hotels that my cousin chose to accommodate her wedding guests a couple of weeks ago, and I opted to share a suite with my other cousin that weekend, since driving back and forth to my condo in the Medical Center would've made the weekend even more exhausting. It's a great hotel, and definitely caters to the weary traveler. And they have FREE parking. Who doesn't love that?!

The staff is incredible--super friendly, and definitely willing to go the extra mile to help out in any way they can. With so many little things going wrong on the bride's big day, I made a few trips to the front desk to ask questions, and they were always so courteous and quick to help. The rooms are spacious, and even the sleeper sofas (which is where I slept) are comfy. Well, I was super exhausted, so the average person might not find them quite as comfy as I did. Just being honest.

The rooms are nice, and well-kept. The bathrooms are equipped with walk-in showers, and the water pressure was great. If you've ever stayed in a hotel where the faucet just dribbles water on you, then you can definitely understand my excitement.

The complimentary breakfast is INCREDIBLE, easily the best part of the stay! The dining area is nice, and there's a desk out front where they write down your room number. They have pretty much everything you could think of--except turkey bacon. (This came up when the bride was asking about it). The main breakfast buffet has scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, French toast, and there's even a dispenser for WARM syrup! There's also hot oatmeal, fresh fruit, yogurt, dry cereal, milk and four kinds of juice, coffee, and also, the omelet bar. Well, I call it that, but it's the little area where you can have an order custom made for you--egg white frittata, egg white omelet, pancakes, whatever. They also have plate covers if you want to take a breakfast tray up to your room. Needless to say, we stuffed ourselves silly at breakfast time during our stay

Overall, I was definitely a happy girl during my stay, and I will definitely look into Embassy Suites during my next road trip.

This is an outstanding hotel, and the best I've stayed in immediately in the energy corridor. The suites are large, and well-furnished. The restaurant has a very large variety of dishes at many price points to suit just about any diner and to keep you interested if you're staying for an extended period of time. Salads are big enough for meals, as are many of the appetizers. They also have nice entrees, with a variety of sides. And for people who just have to have a steak on their trip to Texas, they feature a wide variety of steaks, although those seemed expensive to me ($30-46, no sides included).

The workout room is nice, and the rectangular pool is big enough for amateur athletes to swim laps (it was empty very time I checked it during my stay). The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. The only drawback was the waitstaff at the bar and in the restaurant was a little unpolished, bringing appetizers at the same time as entrees, for example, which is more befitting a cheap chain restaurant than a place with a $46 buffalo steak.
