Hotel is bright, clean and comfy.  I love the beds, and the room I was in had brand new carpets.  The staff are all very friendly, and on-site restaurant and bar are nice.  I will stay here again!

Got a free nights stay because of an airline screw up. They have a full bar, restaurant, and room service. The bed is adjustable but I couldn't get it right and woke up with the worst back and neck pain. The room was large and comfy. Plenty of toiletries and towels. The shower was big with plenty of strong water pressure and hot water. They give you a complimentary bottle of water and a coffee maker with mugs, coffee, and real creamer. The room is also equipped with a mini fridge and microwave.

Rooms are clean but decor is a little outdated.  Beds might be comfortable to some but they killed my neck and back.  The lobby is nice since it has a restaurant and bar.  The gym is pretty sparse with only one eliptical and two treadmills.  The area is shady so don't think you'll just go outside for a jog.  The area is called Greenspointe but the locals refer to it as Gunspointe if you get my drift.

Great hotel close to the airport. Cheap and clean. Free shuttle to the airport.

This is my second visit to this hotel.  I travel frequently and usually stay 5 days or more per visit.  This place is one of the better hotels.  The staff is friendly and the rooms are nice.  I love all the channels that they offer.  Free wifi is a big plus for me.  The restaraunt downstairs is really good and reasonably priced.  It is better than going out to the dirty places around here.   If and when I come to the Houston area I will be back here.

Very handy for the airport. I love that the duvet covers are the type that are removed and cleaned for each guest, I am beginning to really hate the heavy duty blankets that some hotels still use. Good customer service, decent food, handy shuttle.

Not much to add to Sherry A.'s review... it's a great place with a good location for airport/North Houston business.

The usual great Hilton bed is here, a friendly staff and two really nice and welcome bonuses:
    (1) A microwave and mini-fridge. Those are a must for me, since I usually stay in suite hotels so I can have those.
    (2) Decent TV. Most hotels offer maybe 20 channels; this property has DirecTV with what looked like 200 channels -- and of course, an up-to-date flat panel HDTV. No CRTs here... this is so welcome when you're looking for something to watch. You're not stuck with CNN or the Weather Channel.

The internet here is free, but slow. I guess you can't have it all. Also, no free breakfast -- go to the restaurant inside, the diner next door, or buy your own and put it in the fridge! There's a "market" in the lobby in lieu of vending machines.

My husband and I stayed here since we had an overnight layover in Houston.  There was a shuttle to take us to and from the airport, which was a great service.  The hotel itself was very clean.  The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had a nice shower.  I didn't notice any aircraft noise, but I'm used to sleeping with the sound of traffic.  It's too bad there aren't more food options around for travelers who arrive late in the evening.  We ended up ordering pizza since the food in the downstairs restaurant was crazy expensive for the basic entrees.  The free wifi was a nice bonus.  Not close to much (not that you can expect to have much near the airport), but a great option if you're just staying for a few hours and need some rest.

Great, GREAT customer service at this hotel. Staff was was the epitome of "Southern Hospitality" and Customer Service. For example: They offer virtual printing services, but unfortunately it wasn't working when I went to print my documents. As the customer service rep at the desk was explaining that it wasn't working and that he wasn't able to fix it himself, my mind was settling on the fact that I would probably have to "come back later". As I thanked him, he stated I should hang on because he was going to tell his manager. The manager came out to apologize to me as well and started to explain she couldn't fix the problem. I thanked her and said I understood. I was turning and about to say I could come back later, she offered the computer in the management office. In shock I just stood there and responded with a hesitant ok... she disappeared down the hall and came back to get me saying, I was okay to follow her. She was correct, i was able to use her computer and printer to get my passes printed. She apologized the entire time and was thanking me for my patience. Wow! They have an excellent training program. Many companies can learn from Hilton.

The rooms were very nice, clean and well manicured at the end of each day. Curious, the tips we were leaving on the counter were not touched, but we kept adding to it each day, as it was well deserved! The bottle water in the room was replenished each day.

The pool area was nice and clean (except for the smoking, if you are a non-smoker like me).
The fitness center was small but it did its job. It had 1 elliptical machine, 2 treadmills, standard dumbbells, medicine balls, stretching mats. I love the fact they have a filter water dispenser in the fitness center as well.

The only downside, that I will not penalize the hotel for, is the fact that because it is by the airport (which actually makes it convenient as well),  the noises from the planes can be very loud for those that are light sleepers.

I look forward to visiting Houston again and will definitely look to book again with this hotel. Thanks to the staff for a great experience.

Fancy bed, fancy desk chair. The room was almost completely quiet. There is still some aircraft noise as it's a little close to the end of Runway 15, so be ready for that. Houston doesn't fly all night, but they sure start early.

The Hilton Garden Inn has a restaurant and a bar in the lobby area. Also coffee is available from the urn in the lobby.

I don't know if it was just the one night or if it's a regular thing but I have never seen a slower kitchen. There were a few other guests and I should have noticed that most of them were waiting for their food. My club sandwich took 25 minutes. I was just about at the point where it was time to give up and go elsewhere. I mentioned it to one of the front desk guys as I went to my room, but he didn't seem particularly interested. Very disappointing.

The room was fine. Microwave, television, small fridge, coffee maker with fixings. Free wi-fi. Comfy. If I was staying in the Houston area for an extended time, I'd give this place a thought.

Thermostat on wall was broken. It was late at night so I fixed it myself. Cable tv was unplugged and again fixed it myself. Room and hotel were clean. Check in was quick and parking was easy. Close to the airport. Price is a bit high for what you get.

Services is totaly worst in the world. And they even check your trash can to see what you do last night and no baggage assistant just like nothing at all. No taxi in front door and you need to do the call your self. I think this is much worst than a motel.

Was a very solid HGI. Very close to the airport, which is what I was looking for. If you are needing lots of restaurants in walking distance, not the location you will want as only a few chain restaurants in walking distance. Lots of restaurants within a few minute by car.  Decent amount of parking in front when arrived, front desk was friendly and got me upstairs quickly. Room was the standard, microwave, fridge, keurig coffee maker. TV was 37" and AC was controllable and had it down to low 60s within a few minutes ;-).

Bar downstairs is small but had a beer with other folks while watching world cup. They were going to have apps and snacks that night but had dinner plans.  Cookies when I got back were quite tasty!

Only negative was the beds. I usually only stay at Hilton properties when I travel and most have super comfy beds, pillow top, great comforters, tv trays etc. This bed had none of those things and was pretty hard. I do not mind a hard bed, but was just not as comfortable as others I have stayed at.

Overall, solid HGI and will stay again.

Most Hilton's treat me like a mini celebrity even though I am only silver status. This place didn't really treat me like anything. Most Hilton's offer 2 free snacks from their pantry to silver members, but this one doesn't. No big deal.

The restaurant downstairs isn't really good food. I ordered soup which came slightly cold. I ended up having to still pay for it anyway. This whole building smells like bleach, which I guess is promising because that means it's clean, right? Only problem is that their beds smell like bleach which makes it kind of hard to get comfortable.

I do like the cleaning staff here though. Unlike other Hilton's, they don't demand to enter your room every 2 days.

Overall, Hilton Garden Inn is not a bad place to stay, it's just not worth $188 per night.

We stayed here one night because of a missed connection. And no, not one of the sex missed connections from Craigslist.

The rooms are very nice for what I saw on my United receipt was a very inexpensive room. The staff is courteous and helpful, and the shuttle is a convenient and inexpensive (read: free) way to get to the hotel from the airport. The ability to turn the air conditioning down to arctic temperatures was a welcome amenity, and my husband and I appreciated the variety of channels that they offered for entertainment--also, the bottle of water that didn't cost me a first-born child or appendage. The beds are comfy, the room was clean--basically it was everything I wanted in a short stay.

We ate nearby, so I don't have a review for the restaurant, but we did grab a bottle of wine there and the staff was again friendly and helpful. No complaints there. We also noticed a very nice-looking pool but we were suit-less and unable to enjoy it.

My only confusion? Why there was no toilet paper holder. Just a roll, sittin' on the counter. I don't particularly care--i don't need my roll to be held to use it--just curious why holders were skipped.

It's not anywhere near Downtown Houston, so don't expect it to be, but as an airport hotel it suited me just fine.
