    My Room was very nice, I stayed in a jacuzzi king suite it was my 10th year wedding anniversary. Flat screen TVs and nice furniture in the living areas. The beds have firmness separate firmness controls.  I gave it 4 stars because I could never get my laptop to connect to there WIFI, also could not hook up my DVD player to there TV, and also because next door to strip club which I found weird being that I was celebrating my 10th year wedding anniversary. But, other than that it may be perfect for others.  Hilton Garden Inn offers all kinds of discounts if you reserve via there website, and even offers state and fed discounts.

    Freezing cold air, huge flat screen TV and the most comfortable bed ever....Best. Hotel. Stay. Ever. My only complaint was the cold shower in the morning. Water never got warm... but my friends in the next room had plenty of hot water... maybe it was fluke. I also jumped in the pool and hot tub after they closed.... hospitality staff was very nice and said not to worry about the time... just enjoy my stay... so I swam around until almost 11:30 pm. Great to relax after a long flight.

    Decent hotel. Clean and in relatively close proximity to shopping and restaurants. Just wish the front desk made you feel appreciated. After all for what they charge, they could at least smile and make you feel welcome.

    I really LIKE Hilton Garden Inn's, but I am irked that I am being charged $8.00 a day for parking.  The detached parking structure has no covered path into the hotel, so you can still get rained on.  There is no value-add for my $8.00.

    My room is clean and quiet and the free breakfast is pretty good.  My big TV is pretty dim though.

    Eliminate the parking fee and I will add a star.  Create a covered walkway from the parking garage to the hotel and I will add another star.

    The Hilton Garden Inn at the Galleria is a basic Hilton Garden Inn so it automatically gets a solid three stars.  Deduct a half star for the strip club right next to it.  (It's not the club, it's the patrons and rif-raf that go along with it) And then deduct another half star for the ominous parking garage directly behind the hotel.  (And the parking for the hotel).

    Staff was nice and rooms were basically clean.  Just felt a bit smaller and more cramped than the typical HGI.

    Don't stay here! Pay for self parking $10? No sleep comfort beds? HIG thought that was required. Hotel bar pushed me away to try local food. When I took there advice, I walked for miles because everything was closed. Oh yeah Memorial Day! The staff don't know the town they work in? Also, isn't priority to keep guest in hotel to spend money. They gave me coupons when checking in to stay and spend money here. Worked all day in my room and had my office set up to realize about 9pm that the tv doesn't work. Called front desk and typical calling you an idiot and say unplug it and try again. Says he would call tech in and would take 45 minutes and then offered me another room which was suppose to be an upgrade only thing the tv worked and not an upgrade. Only thing the food was good. But, HIG clearly states a satisfied experience or you don't pay. I usually don't take advantage of this policy but, wasting my time and the way I was treated I am not paying. They should offer half star. Beds are to soft and that is another reason I stay at HIG to adjust the comfort level. Now, I will wake up with a sore back. Thanks HIG for a great Memorial Day. Not only that, I have been traveling since 4:30am this morning to be so disappointed. Texas has the worst HIG. Only state I ever complained about HIG. Oh yeah, $9 glass of cheap wine? I can keep going but, must finish my work.

    Stayed at this hotel for three days, the lobby was very Nicely decorated, it was warm and inviting and the staff was friendly.

    They offer, free coffee and tea and some fruits (first come first serve in the fruits).
    I had dinner at their restaurant and the food was very good.  We had the Salmon dinner with mash potatoes and vegetables.  The waiter Raul was very friendly and boy can make a great Margarita!

    The rooms were very clean and up to date, the entire hotel has a nice modern feel to it.

    The only cons:  the walls are thin, and there is a $10 parking fee per night.
    Housekeeping failed to come and clean our room on our second day.

    Otherwise it was a nice stay, great location for shopping!

    We booked a room here on a discount rate through USA Rugby.  We had some issues checking in with the room rate, and admittedly became frustrated.  However, once the manager got involved, they were outstanding!  They truly bent over backwards to correct the problem, and then went well above and beyond to prove that they were customer oriented.   I was impressed.

    Not a bad place to stay except I normally expect more from a Hilton. Very basic. No free breakfast & $10 a day for parking in the parking garage. Where else are you going to park?   Pool and hot tub were nice. Close to the galleria and restaurants. Bathroom could have used some updating. Not terrible but nothing to write home about.

    This is a clean, reliable, Hilton Garden Inn in a good area near the Galleria.  It is nothing to write home about but it was a nice enough option for a recent Business trip in the area and I chose to stay here primarily for the location. The hotel lobby and rooms feel a bit outdated but it was well priced and had all the basics I needed.  The happy hour with appetizers and free wine/ beer is always a nice touch but the options were limited.  Since I am hilton gold member I received complimentary internet and breakfast but this isn't the case for regular guests.  Parking lot was also convenient and there was no need for valet.  Would stay here just for the location and for business, but don't expect anything special.

    So I did not stay here, I was booked to stay but my company screwed something up and had me booked at two hotels both Hilton's in Houston.  When I saw the charge on my credit card, I called and spoke with Rashad.  I explained the circumstances, that I no showed and that it was not their fault but my company travel agent error.  He quickly reversed the charge, he could not have been more polite, he called later to confirm the credit had been made to my account.  They really were not obligated to credit my account but did without any problem.  It is why I most often stay at Hilton's and why I ask my staff to book Hilton's as often as possible.

    As HGIs go this one is a bit of a dump.  The price is outrageous for what you get. Top it off with the lovely strip club next door.  I would NEVER bring my family here to stay.  Oh, and you pay $10 for the privilege of self-parking,  Guess Gold level members get no perks here.  The room is very dated and the carpet is stained.  Furniture looks like circa 1980.  Lots of other choices that I will be sure to explore next time I come to town.

    Four stars due to the plain and simple fact that their base rate is $99.  In this area of town, for a brand-name property, that is a steal.  Furthermore:

    - $10 parking - not terrible
    - Free, reliable WiFi throughout property
    - Fairly clean - rooms are a tad musty, but by no means yuk
    - $10 breakfast buffet (and you can get made-to-order omelets, etc)
    - Comfy beds, good AC, fridge in room

    This is definitely not as new, well-kept or as nice as some other properties in this immediate area - but for the price, you simply can't beat it.

    Do not stay here. My vehicle was broken into early morning Nov 30 between 3:30am and 9am. I was working at a hospital and then parked my vehicle in their parking tower, with a walking guard, and usual sign of bearing no responsibility for charging you to park. The hotel Denied a breakin occurred  although the vehicle next to me had their window bust out and my drivers side inside lock was pushed into the door. Since they stole personal information of mine and this Hilton location does not care for you, I'd encourage telling everyone they really don't care for you or your personal belongings while you sleep.

    I am a long-term HHonors member travelling with the military and always use Hilton properties. However, this time I was travelling for my Sister's Wedding so I didn't use the military ticket provider. To make a long story short:
    1. Sister got cold feet and cancelled the wedding.
    2. Hotel will charge me for the entire stay even since I cancelled 2 months in advance, because they have an unwaivering love for their policies over their customers.
    End result: They will lose at least one customer and anyone else I within earshot.

    I've stayed at quite a few Hilton Garden Inns before and I must say this was by far the best. Check-in was quick and smooth, Rashad was great! You have to pay for parking in the garage which sucks but it makes you feel better to have the security gaurd driving around the premises all night! The room even had a sofa in it which isnt standard for Hilton Garden Inns. During my stay they were doing renovations and I could hear the drilling at 9 am after a long night of partying but thats neither here nor there. Location is great, anything you can think of is around you. Great place to stay!

    Hotel ia nice,  make sure you get a room in the front or youll get a crappy view of an office bldg and a humming a/c unit all day/night. Other than the smoke alarm going off and paying to park , which I don't understand its ok.

    The one complaint I have is with the grill, I had a long hair in my plate amd they did nothing about other than ask can I cook you another egg, umm no thanks my appetite is ruined and im a big guy,  all in all 3 stars is good enough

    I was totally stuck when the Hilton Post Oak lost my reservation, and then told me I was on my own because they were completely booked. Every other hotel in the area will charge a fortune for walk-ups, and the Garden Inn was no exception, but at least they were willing to accommodate me on such short notice.

    Certainly not as fancy as the Post Oak, but clean and well-maintained. Absolutely no view worth mentioning, either the street in front or the parking garage behind. Since I didn't drive, they were willing to shuttle me back and forth from the convention I was attending. I didn't spring for the breakfast, which was $10 extra, but they did offer coffee to go free. They also didn't charge for Wi-Fi, which most Hilton properties do.

    After a disastrous start my trip to Houston was saved at least partially by the good people at this place.

    Been here several times.   The location is great and the hotel is clean at a reasonable price.   My complaint is with the customer service.   They could not load my HH due to booking through united airlines.  Also for a hotel that depends on business folks.   The business center was out of order.     Wow.   They need something to keep folks coming back.

    Clean & well decorated guest rooms
    Wonderful staff
    Lovely cleaning crew
    Sales Manager, Brittany went above & beyond.

    I'm in houston 1-2x a month (10-12days total). And I'm only staying at Hilton Garden Inn. I suggest everyone else do the same!!

    They dived into a dumpster to retrieve our four dresses worth 1700+ in sealed UPS packages that were mistakenly put in the trash by cleaning staff cleaning the room.

    They called a salon to tell them off that they made my hair look like total shit because They saw how pissed I was, and to make it right with me. It's the first time I started crying over my hair!

    If that isn't great customer service I don't know what is. They went above and beyond and the pie, bottles of champagne and wine could not express how much we loved the staff here but that's what we gave them to express our gratitude. Their hot breakfast in the morning is really good.

    Thanks for shuttling me all over the galleria part of town :)
