Traveling through South Houston on business and came across this brand new property that is strategically located on South Freeway and near lots of shopping. Its easy in, easy out. The property is spotless. The service is impeccable. And Janet did a great job selling its attributes for my future visits to the area. Best of all, you get all of this at a great price. And don't forget the free breakfast...This place is great!! I WILL return!

Very nice hotel. Everything about this place is nice. Excellent breakfast area. Can't find much wrong with this hotel, but we only stayed here one night.

Nice rooms, nice gym, decent *free* breakfast. The guy that worked the 4-11pm shift was really nice and funny (I didn't really deal with anyone else).
I forgot my pillow and called back to see if they found it. Eventually they were able to track it down, but the lady was really irritated with me. The whole situation would've been smoother if it didn't sound like I was her 4 year old kid. I know it's my fault I left my stuff there and they aren't responsible for lost items, but she told me to pick the pillow up (hello? If I could, I wouldn't stay at a hotel). Then she told me to give her my cc # over the phone and it'll cost $50 to ship (what?? stuff it in a bag and slap some postage on it. also, I don't trust giving my cc over the phone to a stranger for anything). At any rate, I was told by corporate they're shipping it back. I had given up and just bought a new one off Amazon, so we'll see if it actually comes back.
The location of this Holiday Inn Express isn't very convenient to get to (requires U-turns, etc), and all the food/shopping is at the next exit. Maybe try staying at Marriott Courtyard in Pearland. It's in the heart of everything convenient, and just a few min south.

I stay at Holiday Inn Express properties several nights per month throughout the Southwest US.
While the Hotel accommodations are fine - the lack of professional
service is In-excusable.
Was asked if I was a guest more than once while visiting with colleagues in the breakfast area. The Staff turned-off the lights during late morning to obviously
give me the hint that they did NOT want guests sitting in the area after 9:30am
At 10:30am on day of my departure - they called my room to ask me in a
very very rude tone " When will you be leaving" ?? Check-out is usually by noon.
my reaction was - "in a few minutes" & never returning.
I will stay at OTHER properties from now on when in Pearland area -
As a Priority Club member and there on business monthly - I didn't appreciate
the RUDE attitude that the front-desk and apparent Mgr. was showing to me as a guest and my employees with me.
Poor Poor Service !!!!
Do NOT Recommend this property.

I stayed here 2 night 3 days. The location was so-so, there was nothing within walking distance. The front desk person when I checked in the first night was not super friendly. However the lady when I checked out was an absolute doll. I didn't have hot water for 2 days because their hot water heater was "broken". Also my room was right next to the elevator. Consequently, I heard EVERYBODY as they were coming and going all hours of the day/night in addition to the ding of the elevator. The walls were pretty thin as well. I could hear babies crying and people talking. Another pet peeve of my was that the ice bucket and coffee machine was in the bathroom literally right next to the toilet, gross! With all that being said, the room was well decorated and clean. The toiletries were bath and body works and smelled nice. There was also extra razors, shaving cream, toothpaste etc available at the front desk if you forgot something. Also, inside the room was a fridge and microwave, handy if you have leftovers! The mattress was too soft for me, but that's my personal preference. The breakfast in the morning was good but nothing to write home about. There was plenty to choose from so I'm sure even the pickiest of eaters could find something to eat. They had a cool pancake machine which you push a button and 2 pancakes come out cooked off of a conveyer belt. Probably the niftiest thing I have seen at a hotel. Pretty solid hotel as long as you aren't near the elevator/ice machines.

I had a really great experience here. My coworker and I checked in and the person at the counter was in training, so it took a little longer than usual. The staff were very apologetic, however, and gave us a goodie bag with water and trail mix then upgraded us to a suite for our troubles. The staff, in general, was super nice and helpful. The offered to make us a breakfast tray if we had to leave before breakfast started in the morning.
Wednesday and Thursday nights are happy hour. I was not able to partake, but it was my understanding that food, beer, and wine was offered.
The rooms were clean and the hotel was nice and up-to-date. I would stay here again.

Clean, spacious rooms, great breakfast, very friendly staff. However as a business traveler wifi is important, and the fact that I couldn't stream a video without long pauses at 4 PM on a Wednesday, let alone at night, and having the front desk tell me it was because they were so busy definitely will make me think twice when looking for a hotel when traveling to the area again. Would be happy to come back if improvements are made!
