This La Quinta is among the best hotels I've ever stayed at.
We stayed here 2 nights recently while in town for a friends wedding. We were amazed at how large the rooms are. When we first got to our room, I thought we might have been given a suite because of the sheer size of our room. The first thing we always do when we check into a hotel is check for bugs. There were no bugs and our room was extremely clean.
The bed in this hotel was the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept on. It was kind of on the firm side (which is my favorite), so not everyone might think so, but I certainly loved it.
We had a slight issue with a very high-pitched whistling sound infrequently coming from our AC unit. We talked to the front desk about it and they said we could switch rooms if we wanted and the lady at the front desk even offered to help us move our things. I kind of assumed it was a problem with condensation and it wouldn't happen at night, and I was right, the whistling stopped sometime during the evening so we didn't have to switch rooms.
The continental breakfast was pretty good. The boxes of cereal tasted a little stale and there were jugs of juices that were not labeled, but other than that they had waffles, eggs, toast, fruit, yogurt, muffins etc. It was a very good breakfast.
The only thing I didn't like about this location was that the commons area and lobby were kind of warm, but that's obviously not a huge deal.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay at this LQ and we would absolutely return to this location in the future.

I have visited this located a few different times now. The rooms are clean and beds are quite comfortable. The breakfast is decent but inefficient. When things run out they aren't replaced in a timely manner.
The largest downside is that they claim to have wifi but it's never worked! In my field, internet is a must. I will no longer return due to this issue that has yet to be resolved!

I stay in LaQuintas quite often, and have gotten quite spoiled. They are truly the most consistent chain of hotels out there with an affordable pricepoint.
That being said this particular LaQuinta was a very nice one with a friendly staff. The rooms are sparkling clean (YAY!) and so very comfortable.
The only thing that bothered me was when I checked into the room the window was sitting wide open to the field behind the hotel.
It is a little bit off the beaten path but well worth it.

It's by far the worst hotel, loud and constant noise at night,
insecure window, staff lie to customer and not solving problems.
I have stayed in La Quinta Inn & Suites Houston Energy Corridor at 3/14/2015
for one night, the experience was extremely unpleasant.
The people upstair kept making sound the whole night,
yes exactly the whole night.
From 12am - 3am,
I can't even fall asleep because of the constant knocking and hitting noise upstair,
When it was 7am, the problem was the worst!
They just kept making the noise and never stop!
I called and walked to the front desk twice in the midnight.
The staff named Alex told us that there is no one in that room (strange huh)
But the staff of the morning shift told us that
There is an quiet old man in that room
and he doesn't have any problem with anyone for 2 months
WOW WHAT IS THAT!
so who the hell is lying here huh?
Also at 11am when we try to get some rest,
the staff called and ask us to check out before 12,
I describe our sleepless situation and ask for a late check out just for half an hour
and he just firmly declined it. Do you guys even have humanity or mercy?
stay away from this hotel
unless you guys never sleep at night
or never ask for help at front desk.

I am a big fan of the LQ. We travel with our dog and she stays free here. I don't like the debit card policy, be aware they out two holds on it for the amount of the stay which I don't understand. Rooms are clean, staff is friendly, and very quiet. Hot tub doesn't work.
