Clean and quiet.  Shuttle service to the local hospitals is great.  Free DVD borrowing from the library in the lobby.  Price is very good, too.  Beaucoup Bar & Grill is a short walk away for fantastic food.

Convenient for Medical Center. Great for extended stay.  Krogers Grocery is about a mile away.  Several restaurants nearby also.  The hotel premises are very safe but I personally wouldn't venture out in the middle of the night.  We never used the shuttle service but did notice the shuttle taking people to nearby stores so that is helpful.  Room is very spacious also.  Great price.

Let me walk you thru this atrocious experience. We pull up, and the building is completely filthy with water, clear as day staining the cement walls. But not to overshadow the giant roaches crawling up the tacky, paint job that someone's kid did. We get to the front desk, to be greeted by the wonderfully rude staff. I really appreciated their condescending tones, and need to converse with one another about their love lives, rather than successfully checking us in a timely manner. The front desk woman felt the need to   reiterate, and while simultaneously talking to her teenage daughter, about an additional deposit on the room, (which was not on the confirmation forms when booked) about if we smoked, or left the room dirty. Okay, I can respect that. But lets get to the room, first. Wait, we can't. The hallways to the elevators wreaked of urine. Get to the room, and the room smells like smoke! The room looks like it was "straightened" up, and not actually thoroughly cleaned. The dishes provided were dirty from the previous visit, linens had stains on them. But please DO NOT bother the housekeeping staff from their busy lives of not cleaning the rooms. I leave for the day, come back, the room is AS IS. Bed wasn't made, no new linens, no toilet paper. Nothing! I went downstairs where I was once again rudely, greeted by the front desk, when I asked for housekeeping. The guy said, "We don't have housekeeping, lady." Thanks for the hospitality. Really, the only thing pleasant about this place is the older maintenance guy. He was a real joy. I will NEVER go back to place. Especially a few hours after I checked out. My card was charged, 4 different times, for what the guy at the front desk says "Sometimes happens, but will come off eventually." Sooooooo over it!!!!

This hotel is very close to MD Anderson. Staff was very nice and room was comfortable. The breakfast is excellent and served fresh. Would definitely come back!

Im here for 4 days. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Room is clean and very reasonable.  It is not a 5 star hotel, but the people are.  If you are looking for a clean, reasonably priced place, this is it.  Like i said, the staff here make it special

On arrival I was immediately greeted by a panhandler with a very heartbreaking story about how everything in the world had just happened to him and he would need some help. I watched this guy hit every single person that pulled up and no one from the "security team" seemed to mind. Room was dirty and smelled like piss which made it difficult to sleep. It's in a VERY bad neighborhood and all night long it was sirens and the hum of the highway that is right next door.

I arrived early wondering if my room might be ready. I had an early flight and wanted to unload my stuff before heading off to my conference.  Ultimately it wasn't the fact that they didn't have a room available, it was the fact that they were so indifferent about it. "We MIGHT have some rooms around 3". No other comment, no other interest helping me out.  I guess I've grown so used to visiting Las Vegas for conferences that her lack of interest in my comfort surprised me.

Otherwise, a decent hotel that provides a good sized room with plenty of amenities. Getting in and out can be a little strange because of where is is located.  If you are not on the side of the road it is on you'll have to go past and turn around. My GPS liked to route me behind the building which is weird, but DOES work.

Overall my experience was positive and I would probably stay there again based on price.

Incompetent staff! I waited to check in for 30 minutes at 10pm a line starting forming. A bag was sloppy strewn behind the front desk so I figured someone must be there. The lights we're off in the office. Byron finally appeared. No apology at all. He wouldn't give me a receipt for $150 cash they made me pay incase accident in the room. He was just lazy. My husband went in and demanded receipt so we got it. The tiny hard queen size bed with throw pillow as pillows lol. Manager lady in morning completely  rude. They have a 100% guarantee in their room. What a joke. Yeah right. She lied and said she wouldn't invoice priceline. Then offered 20% back. Also I heard them telling people rates change hourly. Beware they throw in extra charges and have no corporate. Shady as hell. Plus no parking. Just horrible

This is my first stay here and am impressed by the friendliness of the staff. The shuttle driver named Ed was a big hero this morning as he prevented mom from falling out of the van as we were on our way to MDAnderson. Thanks Again Ed!
