I enjoyed the room.  Hotel was renovated. Service was great.  Gym was good too, small, but enough for me.  As far as location, I didn't have time to visit downtown or the Galleria, so I can't judge.  It was a good location for the type of business I was in town for (driving all around Houston area for client/site visits).  For business, I'd recommend this place for sure.

What could be a nice hotel, albeit in the middle of nowhere, is marred by some serious incompetence. In the course of a week, my laundry was lost, found, lost again, and finally brought to my room with no apologies. My bill was a mess that I am still arguing with them over. Good thing I don't need to stay here again, honestly.

Plenty of garage parking. Great lobby. Staffs were friendly. Check-in and Check-out with no problems. Room was fine, but my expectations coming into this place was set a bit too high so initially I was like, "this is it?" Bed was comfortable. Wish the linens were better smelling. Around 5PM, this lady just swiped her card key and came into my room saying she was housekeeping and asked if everything was OK. I was a bit freaked out because why would there be housekeeping in the evening? So after that incident, I definitely placed my "do not disturb" card hanger at the door. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here. When coming back to Houston, I will definitely keep this place in mind when booking.

I need to echo everything that Liz said about our stay here this past week. Great prices, great policies, great service, great amenities. Great, great, great.

One thing I'll add that she didn't mention is that they also have covered garage parking for keeping your car out of the sun. BONUS!

This hotel has been y backup plan when I can't find anything in the Galleria area, but I will probably be looking for an alternative to this backup plan. The first time I HAD to stay here, I didn't like how old the hotel was--particularly the carpet and the bathroom. The TV broke after the first night. I should have known better than returning to this hotel. My second stay was much much worse. Other than the old carpet and bathroom, the "free" wifi didn't work, the tub and sink were clogged up, towels had someone else's hair, the blow dryer was dirty and sticky, and the bathroom had an aweful smell. I would drive all the way home instead of staying at this hotel again.

I have to recommend this place enthusiastically because we stayed here with our two dogs, and they didn't charge us a pet fee. Our room cost us a measly $79 a night (for a Sheraton, that's awesome. Poke around online and you can find some great deals.)

Most importantly- the bed was really comfortable, not too soft for once. Our room had a great skyline view that our dogs enjoyed peeking out of. The room had Starbucks coffee and Tazo tea, and the complementary toiletries were Bliss, which are typically rather pricey. For once I kept the shampoo and lotion from a hotel!

The net access was free here- no guaging you on daily net use. The wireless signal actually was a bit weak from the 8th floor though, so we wound up using the landline at the desk in the room.

The restaurant in the hotel was actually reasonably priced and the food was fairly good. We were also pleased to discover that a Sapphire martini  was only $7 here (we'd been charged $18 for a drink at a Hilton in Memphis the night before- never going back there).

Anyway, no real complaints apart from the wireless signal strength. I'll be recommending this place to family if they visit us and don't want to lodge with us!

Came here recently for a darts tournament and was pretty impressed with the place.  They opened up their huge ballroom and had all the boards set up.  We had great time over there and was impressed all around with the staff.  I didn't meet one single employee that wasn't overly helpful.  They set up food inside the ballroom and we had a ticket set up to make things easier.  The beers were surprisingly cheap ($325 for domestic, $3.50 for imports) and the burgers were tasty considering that they were sitting on hotpans.

I ate at the breakfast buffet and was more than a little shocked at the amazing price.  I think I paid about $10 for a full out buffet of fruit, bagels, bacon, etc.  I also ate at their nice little bar and gorged myself on their fantastic soup.  Since they hadn't made chips in a few hours, they decided to make a new batch just for us and they were probably the best homemade chips I've ever had.

The downsides to the place is the location.  Yes, it is near the Galleria which is fantastic but it was a pain to get to.  And while all the food I had was pretty good, I was really disappointed with the nachos.  The chips were stale, the queso was more than bland and the only extra thing they had was jalapenos.  When we complained about the chips being stale (as in, I heard about 10 different people complaining), management claimed they weren't stale even after taking a bite.  Sad.  For the price though, I'm more than a little impressed by the place.  The food and service more than make it worth it to stay here.

I attended a wedding near downtown Houston and I needed a place to stay. This place had a great deal for a twin room.

The room was spacious and I loved the fact that there was free Wifi. The twin bed was more than comfortable. The bathroom was nice and clean, nothing less than what you would expect from a Sheraton hotel. The management was kind and courteous and the continental breakfast was amazing.

Two complaints I had with this place: there was no free power outlet near the beds to plug in a phone charger. The two outlets that were there were being taken up by the lamps and the alarm clock, meaning you would have to unplug one to plug something of yours in.

The other complaint (not really a complaint, but an inconvenience) was the location. I don't mean location as in what part of town it's in, I mean the fact that it was right smack-dab in the corner of a loop (610 - NW Houston) and a spur of that loop (290). Heading into town required heading NW on 290 and then u-turning back around and jumping on 610. Heading to the hotel from town required driving past the hotel on 610 and then u-turning around at the signal. An inconvenience to be sure, but just a minor one.

I would definately recommend this place again. The complaints that I had about this place are minor, not enough to remove a star rating for it.

I stayed here for 2 weeks on business trip. This review could be unfair for Sheraton because I was moved from TownePlace Suite down 290 to here. The room here has no minibar/ small fridge. It has the smell of an old hotel. The lighting is poor. Old hotel smell + poor lighting = gloomy.

My fiance and I have stayed at this hotel about 3 times now, and each time has been a good visit.

Except for this last time, the beds were always very comfortable. People can be loud when 10am comes around, but that's to be expected in a hotel. The bath products are nice, and they even give you a couple of q-tips. We've never had a problem with out room or the plumbing or any crazy stuff like that. When staying several days, housekeeping was always very good and refilled our bath products and made the bed.

The only thing I could think of would be the quality of reception on the TV and to maybe add a DVD player. Other than that, for around $80 a night you get a nice room in a good location that maybe isn't the most convenient to get in and out of.

This is a quite a cut above the usual Sheraton with an unusually cushy lobby, business center and bar area complete with very comfortable sofas and easy chairs, lots of well cared for plants, and decor worthy of a photo from a home decor magazine.  I stayed here for a wedding, a perfect place for a multi-room get-together because of the nice public areas for groups to relax together.

Their free parking garage connects to the lobby via a covered walkway.  Rooms were beautifully appointed with great bedding.  Bathroom lighting was flattering--a change from the norm--and my room had a great view of the Houston skyline.  The rooms have free internet and one of the best single-serve coffee makers I've run into with Starbuck's coffee and real cream.  Hotel desk staff were professional, attentive and gracious.

The only problems I encountered were a telephone glitch (when I tried to dial room 834, the phone kept ringing in 836) and a TV that didn't get a signal.  I'm sure they would have fixed the TV if I'd called, but I didn't really want to watch anyway.  I would absolutely stay here again and invite others to meet here for a Houston event.  Check out the weekend prices--they were just $79 last weekend for this $150/night level hotel.

I would like to thank Sheraton for helping bring a smile to my fiancée's face on his birthday.  He is away for work and is staying at the hotel and today was his birthday and he was a bit bummed but the nice and friendly staff help me set up a nice surprise for him. You guys are awesome, thank you!

I've been staying at this hotel for a few months now, and have grown to be quite a fan. It's not the most luxurious for a Starwood property, but they do a great job in making up for it with great service.

There's free parking out back, and a nice lobby area with computers, a gym, a gift shop and a bar/restaurant. Rooms are clean and spacious, with the usual great sweet sleeper beds and plasma tvs. SPG members also get free bottled water in the rooms. Bathrooms are a little small, but the shower head is tall enough for me at 6"3 and the water pressure is good so I don't mind.

Aside from convenience of location in getting onto any Houston freeway, the main reason I enjoy staying here so much is the exceptional customer service. John is one of the best hotel managers Ive met during my time as a consultant. Very professional, always accommodating, and makes you truly feel at home by remembering faces and greeting you by name. I look forward to many more stays here.

Tried to book a room in the Galleria but everything was full due to the all star game this weekend; this was the closest we could find to the Galleria that was in my rewards program. Our stay lasted four days and was very pleasant, while it was nothing extraordinary the rooms were clean, beds were fresh and very comfortable, the quality of the Club Lounge food/drinks was above average and staff was more than willing to meet my needs and requests. I won't rate the hotel lower due to the construction (not their fault) but beware that there is a lot of it going on all over the area...be patient with the GPS reroutes. I would definitely stay here again!

Okay, it was tough to get to, but definitely worth it!   Had to make an unexpected trip to Houston and this place helped make my stay relaxing and uneventful.   The check-in process was easy and the staff pleasant and professional.   The room was spacious and clean.

The restaurant and bar experiences were stellar!    We had a slight delay with some food  - not enough that I even noticed - and the manager came to the table and apologized for the delay.   In Tuxedo's it seemed that one person was working the bar and other services, but he was efficient, friendly, and professional.

I woud not hesitate to stay here again!

My wife and I stayed here after spending time downtown.  The hotel atmosphere is not bad given it has recently been remodeled.  The service was very friendly and helpful.  The bar had good service and an interesting mix of people and backgrounds.  The room was not what I expected after paying extra for the club level.  The bed was not comfortable and the walls paper thin.  I woke at 3:30 AM to the people in the room next to us talking loud with their TV volume high.  Lots of doors opening and slamming closed very early in the AM and traffic was very loud.  We did not get much sleep to say the least.  My first choice was the Granduca or other hotels close to the Galleria, but due to all the events they were all full.  Although not the worst I have stayed in I don't suspect we will be back.

Our car was broken into over night when we stayed here, so as you can probably guess, our stay was ehhh, not-so-good. It's odd really, it seems like an okay area, but the police officer that did the report said it happens quite frequently along the highway hotels in that area. Bummer.

I will say that the hotel staff was very helpful in the matter (aside from allowing this to happen on their property... but meh, thieves will find a way I suppose). They taped up the window that was broken and offered to take me to the airport that afternoon so my friend could take her gimpy car and get back on the road. I want to give more stars, but the location es no bueno!

Excellent Hotel, Clean, Easy covered parking in back. very helpful staff, and excellent views from the upper floors! - Details - There is a lot of road work on the beltway, so it is confusing to find, That will all pass when the repairs to the roads finish and have no bearing on the rating of the facility. We thought we had a cooling problem (we were wrong) and the engineering staff was there almost immediately! Comfy bed, incedible number of pillows! and on hot wire it was cheap! I like it!

I was checked quickly by a very friendly employee.  The upgrade to a suite was appreciated (the space was HUGE) though I was not happy that due to its central location and hotel's open layout, noise from the lobby and rest of the hotel disrupted my sleep throughout the first night.  The door stopped the sound quite poorly.  Free garage parking was nice though there are no elevators in the garage.  Current construction of the feeder road in front of the hotel was a minor hassle.  The fitness room was clean, up-to-date, and relatively large.  There were four or five computer stations with free internet (credit card readers lead me to believe this was not always free).  4 elevators eliminated waiting.  Wi-fi was without authentication and strong in my room.  My room had Starbucks coffee, a bottle of complimentary water, and plentiful toiletries.  The bed and sheets looked and felt new.  It was refreshing to have a quality LG 37" flat panel tv on actual HD input.  One of my biggest pet peeves is an HDTV on standard def.  I didn't use the bar/restaurant, but it looked modern and other people were using it.

Pros- Free self park and clean lobby area. Nicely updated for an older Sheraton. The Starwood preferred guest floor was nice with great perks. The concierge staff on the Starwood floor was very inviting and helpful. We enjoyed the Starwood lounge and the staff during the evening hors d'oeuvres was exceptional. Our room was very quiet and clean. Shower area was very clean. Starpoints are priced appropriately.

Cons- Hard to get to currently because of street construction. Upon arrival there were two bums hanging around the front door. I would say it is not in the best part of town. The rooms are a tad bit small and for a room with two double beds. They will not allow a roll away in a double room. The staff at the front desk was not super friendly or accommodating. I was not recognized as a Starwood member.

This property is very well managed, the staff is very professional, rooms are well maintained. They have a pool, gym, restaurant. The location currently under major construction we are talking highway and street renovation so getting here is tricky and it's quite noisy day and night. Traffic here is unsafe the property itself has a guard so it's safe. The price is right very reasonable you will enjoy this property free covered parking.

We had a great time staying at the Sheraton Houston Brookhollow for 2 nights.  The staff was very helpful and friendly. No problem with checking in or out.The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I noticed that they provided two higher and two lower pillows, for someone like myself who usually find it difficult to sleep comfortably on certain pillows, this was something I can appreciate as I could choose a lower pillow or combine both so it's the perfect height. The hotel was a close drive to the Galleria mall, Water wall, Chinatown, and all other tourist attractions. Wonderful stay and definitely recommend to anyone who is staying in the Houston area.

We had a pleasant stay here at the Sheraton Brookhollow. Check-in was easy and the rooms were nice. We stayed here for free with Sheraton points and did not even have to pay for the room tax and check-out, hurray!

    Pros:
    - Fitness center is open 24 hours. A couple of treadmills, ellipticals, and a bike. Free weights and mats as well.
    - $5 credit or 500 points for each day you reuse your towels and sheets... I love hotels that are environmentally friendly!
    - Coffee and tea options in-room plus 2 bottles of water per day
    - Their toiletries smell soooo good!

    Cons:
    - Highway construction make it difficult to get to the hotel, but we used a GPS and the entrance was found after a few extra turns
    - No breakfast included :(
    - I asked for slippers but they forgot... had to ask again

Parking is free, they have a multi-floor garage. Not many dining establishments nearby but we had dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was pretty good. They have a lot of specialty burgers and a handful of entree options such as salmon, chimichurri steak, chicken, etc.

I have stayed here 15+ times and I really don't have anything extremely negative to say about this hotel. The rooms are always clean, the staff is friendly, there is security in the parking lot and the amenities are nice. The only negatives I can think of are: the food is just OK, the hotel is older, there aren't any movies for rent on the tv and housekeeping knocks on your door even with the do not disturb sign on.

My husband and I just got married at the bell tower on 34th less than a month ago and the only bad choice we made in wedding planning was choosing the Sheraton. The rooms were nice and the hotel is nice that is not what my one star review is for....

Do not use them for any type of wedding service!!! It was very difficult to get in touch with the wedding coordinator. It was super frustrating being asked to leave a message and then not being called back until I left a nasty email. I had 20 rooms reserved for our wedding which they had planned the "block" for the day before the wedding through the day after even though I said I wanted two days before. So my grandparents got charged full price for the day they came down early for the bridal luncheon. You would think bringing 20 rooms would make them be super accommodating but all they cared about was the money!

I needed a place to get ready from 1-5 as I was paying for all of my bridesmaids to have their hair and makeup done. Several people told me the hotel will provide a conference room or something similar for free. NOPE! They wanted me to rent the laurel suite which would be $800! That was definitely not part of the budget, so I asked the wedding coordinator for any suggestions. She completely ignored one of my emails about it and then when I sent her another one she just replied saying how wonderful the laurel suite was and it was worth the money. I told her I would get a junior suite and wanted a guaranteed early check in. She said she wouldn't guarantee that and if I wanted a junior suite from 1-5 I would have to get it for two nights...So, I had to reserve a room for 2 nights to get the four hour block! Absolutely ridiculous!

Then, you have to schedule a shuttle which in fact is very nice for your guests. However, when I tried setting it up with her she forced me into booking a 615 and 645 shuttle for a wedding at 730! I tried telling her that was way too early but she wouldn't listen and our guests were so early they wandered around the wedding venue and were completely in the way. Some of them tried to take a tour of the venue when I was trying to change into my gown!

The night before the wedding I sat in the bar with some of my wedding guests that were highly intoxicated and they were angry that they got charged to have their room cleaned! What?!?!? I have never been to a hotel that charges to have the room cleaned!! My guests were also talking about how rude the people at the front desk were when they checked in. Your bar tender is fabulous she deserves a raise! Oh and the wedding coordinator also kept trying to get me to extend the bar to 2 in the morning for $75 even though I told her no twice!

On the wedding day I asked for bar stools or chairs to be sent up to the room. We had to wait 45 minutes for them and my mom had to call down to remind them. That made us start makeup late which meant we weren't able to take as many pictures! I paid so much money to have good pictures but I didn't get my 30 minutes before the wedding for pictures because we were delayed by chairs! The Sheraton had refused at first to send the chairs so that was lovely to deal with.

Everyone told me that we had a perfect fairy tale wedding except for the Sheraton.

My mother called the hotel manager and told him everything and he pretty much didn't care and said they are doing their best! Ha such crap I can't believe he is the manager! will never stay there again and I would never recommend this to anyone!

This is a winner in every category I can think of.

The location is great, convenient to both downtown Houston and Loop 610 (and U.S. 290.) There is a LOT of construction in the area, and this hotel is at the epicenter of it, but it's still easy to get in and out. Parking is in a garage with a connected walkway to the hotel -- perfect for those Houston rainstorms.

I stayed on one of the the Club Floors, and it was outstanding. The room was spacious and quiet (they have quiet hours on those floors!), the bed was comfy and the shower had enough pressure to make me happy.

Wifi was free and a pretty good speed -- there is an upgrade to faster "premium" Internet available for $8.

The Club Floor has a very nice lounge (think mini airport lounge) with a business center, complimentary coffee and soft drinks. Because I was there during the holidays, they didn't offer the normal hors d'oeuvres and cocktails, but it's cool just knowing that's an option!

The best part of my stay was the service, though. I was greeted by name and wasn't rushed at all. The clerk was really personable and went out of his way to explain the features of the hotel. I was already happy even before I got to my room.

This is my new go-to when I'm in the area.

Our second morning we had some issues with hot water for the morning shower. It wasn't quite hot. I thought the rooms were very spacious and was lucky enough to get a room far from the elevator, so it was very quiet.

The bathroom doors were a little hard to shut. I felt like I had to slam it, since it was just me in the room - I just left the door open. All staff was very friendly.

I had left my ring in the bathroom near the banquet hall & housekeeping found & returned it to me before I left. Also I asked the front desk for extra boxes so that I could ship stuff home & they were very helpful.

We also had scheduled one of the banquet rooms for a private party and Kevin was very attentive and friendly. He was always smiling and was very aware of keeping the drinks refilled as well as making sure that everyone received lunch.

After I returned home, I realized I had left my laptop charger on the nightstand. When I called to see if they found it, they agreed to mail it to me.
