Hilarious that Jodie S- who works for UBVR just wrote her own 5 star review.  So typical of our experience with this shady management company.

Our experience was even more horrific that Fahn B so accurately described.
UBVR did a complete bait and switch on us. They double book their shabby properties and then try to cram large groups into smaller, even shabbier units in order to keep their money and claim that they live up to their contract. The property had only 3 towels (for a unit advertised to sleep 12, and no soap!)
Same experience as Fahn, no one contacted us beforehand to provide details upon our arrival, we had to be pro-active and reach out to them.  No one is there to let you into the unit as promised and best of all no one can be reached when you realize they've put you in a smaller, dirtier unit than the one you paid for and agreed per contract.
Since the unit did not fit our group of 10 with children, we were forced to find alternate lodging that could accommodate our group.  Only after we had secured and paid for alternate lodging and now going on 8:00 at night, did Jodie offer another until over 35 minutes away from Park City so she could claim they lived up to their contract and pocket the money.

Jodie  continues to be shady to this day, dodging phone calls, refusing to let us speak to the owner, making false statements in response to our BBB complaint...
After having so many people reach out to me to commiserate in their bad experiences, I am shocked these crooks are still in business!

First of all, notice that the 5-star reviews are written by the owners/managers of Coalition Lodge.  Hmm, and it's posted right after they completely messed up our vacation reservation. That's how apparently desperate and pathetic these business people are.  Normally, I wouldn't be so blunt, but it's deserved.

We reserved a unit to sleep 10 adults and 2 babies with a large common area.  When we arrived to be given a unit with 3 bedrooms, a loft (sleeping 8) and a living room with seating for 3.  A completely different unit than we reserved and paid for and obviously unsatisfactory.  So upon notifying management, instead of admitting they had double-booked the unit we paid for, they scrambled for 6 hours trying to figure something out.  They could've done the right thing, admitted their mistake initially and refunded our money.  Instead, they are trying to cover their grossly inept and unethical handling of the situation and continuing to refuse to refund our money.

Do yourself a favor and avoid Coalition Lodge and UBVR completely.
