room service: mediocre.... every time we ordered (we ordered about 7 times throughout the week) they forgot something (fork, ketchup, water, juice etc.).  my husband had meetings there so i was with the baby in the room during the day and i was so disappointed at the food quality and the absent mindness of the staff.

starbucks: was a JOKE!  i ordered a mocha and the woman was using a cheat sheet to make it.  she forgot the chocolate in there so when i told her, she said there's no chocolate in the mocha.  when she finally did put some in, it just sat in the bottom of cup....by far the worst drink i ever had that includes nasty warm beer.  THEN the next day she made the same mistake and for my husband's drink (Latte) she put chocolate in it......Starbucks is the new McDonald's....sadly.

I need a 2.5 star rating for the PC Marriott--

If you are looking for clean, decently priced accommodations and either have a car or will take advantage of the free city bus to the resorts, I would recommend this Marriott. If you like to be in the center of action and be able to step out your door to restaurants, coffee shops, etc. this is not the place for you.

The room was very clean and the beds comfortable. There were a few minor maintenance items like a loose faucet and a stain on the ceiling from a leak but the hot apple cider in the afternoon, free breakfast (if you are on the 4th floor for some reason) and wait staff
more than made up for ho-hum aesthetics.

The free city shuttle to all the resorts is right out the door and you will want to use it since PC isn't the most pedestrian friendly town in the winter and the hotel is located in a commercial void with few opportunities close by.

One thing I could not understand is how hot the hotel is. Why do I have to turn on the AC to cool down a room when its 25 degrees outside?

Hotels should be well priced, convenient, and attentive.  The Park City Marriott was definitely attentive.  They took care of everything we needed them to, and were eager to please which I definitely appreciated.

Despite that, it's not a great hotel.  The rooms are a good size, but out dated.  The fan kept turning on and off and was ridiculously loud, waking us up at random points during the night.  When it wasn't on, it was hot, and when it was on, it was too cold.  Add that up, plus a hard and uncomfortable mattress means we didn't get a great nights sleep in 5 days.  Yay.

It's true, Park City has a free shuttle.  That, by itself, is convenient.  That it stops right in front of the hotel, is convenient.  That it's still about 10-15 minutes to either the resorts or Main Street, is not convenient.

As for value, you won't find much value in anything in Park City.  If I'm paying over $300/night, I want my hotel in the middle of everything and I want to sleep through the night without being hot and cold and hot again.

Next time, I'd rent a condo or something.

Utah is beautiful. Park City is fun. The beds are heavenly! Great off-season rate for slumber party with my sisters. The breakfast buffet was pretty good.

If it was possible to give negative stars, I would give this property a -10.

If you are keen on rude front desk personnel, roll the dice on your safety because they can't seem to manage to keep one door as card key access-only, despite it being roughly 10 feet from a city bus stop, or enjoy climbing over large hoses strewn across the steps leading up to the point of entry, then come on down to the Park City Marriott!!!

If that has you running to pack your suitcases and head to Utah then you'll also be pleasantly surprised to find out that the management is insulting and a tad bit cowardly.

They are also completely awesome at failing to think ahead and plan for guests on their property who do not wish to partake in the noisy stampede of 351 teenagers running wild. Thank goodness for the concierge lounge (bonus points for you if you can get your key to work on the 1st attempt!). It was a safe refuge amidst all the chaos.

The gentleman that tends the lounge was legitimately a true pleasure to have help us. Perhaps he can be promoted to management?!?!?!

The Park City Marriott was situated right in the heart of downtown Park City. For the money, we preferred the Holiday Inn Express just a few miles up the road in Kimball Junction, but I really have no complaints about the PCM.

The property features the Park City Grill (a basic hotel restaurant). However, the hotel does have room service, which is really nice to have at your fingertips.

If you're trying to avoid the uber-high priced ski resorts, and you need a good place to stay, the definitely check out the Park City Marriott.

Totally sweet. During the off-season (September, to be exact) I hooked a two bedroom suite for a Bachelorette party of one of my BFFs and it cost 100 bucks. It sleeps 9 people comfortably (two king size beds with incredible mattresses and bedding which sleeps 3 comfortably each and two pull out couches, one queen and one twin). The interior is lush with really nice bedding, furniture, and fire place. Whirlpool in one of the two bathrooms and the kitchen is fully equipped. The complimentary toiletries are really nice, and the service is good. We had a party in here with food and booze and we had everything we could ask for. The staff was very helpful and friendly in directing our guests.

Each room is very spacious - in the living space you could comfortably fit around 40 or 50 people for a cocktail party. Each unit validates two covered parking spaces and the premises are adjacent to all the Main street attractions in Park City. Unfortunately the property is like a maze and it's very easy to get lost, and the parking lot is a bit far away from some of the towers.

Oddly enough, I went to a birthday party of a frend's six years before the bachelorette party in the exact same room, and I had an incredible experience at that time as well.

utah??? ok, let's be honest. the first thing that came to my mind when i got an invitation for a wedding in utah was "are they mormons? what kind of freaks gets married in utah (both the bride and groom are non-mormon california residents)? ugh...i should just decline this one". yeah, i was less than excited to attend this celebration based on my ignorance and preconception.

added to the fact that i am not so fond of freezing *ss weather, we just booked any reliable (chains) hotel that was cheap yet convenient. pampering and service weren't such issues for once. our room was located on the 1st floor, known as semi-dungeon, which provided zero view with the only source of outside lighting coming from car headlights. needless to say, i was very disappointed.

however, what changed my mind was their level of service and convenience. when we needed ear plugs, towels, etc., the housekeeping was at our door within minutes notice no matter what time the requests were made. the city wide free shuttle buses stopped right in front of the hotel every 20 minutes which made this marriott really attractive. seriously, when you are in park city, take advantage of this public transportation. we didn't have to use our rental car the entire time (free hotel on-site parking) since the shuttles went to every corner of the city until 1am.

if you see guests running around in bathrobes, do not be alarmed. rightfully, these people are very smart because the hotel's heated pool and powerful jetted jacuzzi are the best way to relax your cold body and cap the day full of sore muscles from ski and snowboarding before you head out for some fun. the facility is quite clean and bright with a lot of natural lights coming from glass ceilings. lots of lounge chairs and clean towels, we thought this was the best feature of the hotel.

i can't complain too much about this hotel, even with my snobbish hotel standards, except the room we were in. the employees were very accommodating and helpful. in fact, i must say park city (and maybe the state too) is the friendliest place in the entire country. and don't worry...booze is allowed!

Very nice hotel, friendly staff and the in-house restaurant is really good. The hotel offers free parking, which is nice for a full-service property.

The parking garage under the hotel is a little small, be careful if you have a truck or large SUV. I also didn't notice any clocks in the room, other than the clock radio in the bedroom (my wife and I were in a suite).

The people are nice, and the restaurant is good for a hotel, however the location is poor, many of the rooms look inward on an atrium and so you cannot get fresh air, and the walls seem thin where we can hear the guests next door using their blow dryer....

Great staff, extremely accommodating and sincerely friendly. Room was roomy and comfortable. Too many young kids in the hot tub but that was not the hotel's fault it was parents who can't read clearly posted signs.
Shuttles were timely, you couldn't ask for more. The staff was so very helpful when checked skis couldn't be found and we were against a lesson deadline.
We will be back

Came here for a short ski vacation and had a good experience at this hotel. Staff was very helpful and friendly. It was very crowded since the Sundance Festival was in town.
You really don't need to rent a car if you come for skiing, since there is a bus stop right outside the hotel that will take you to PCMR! Very easy. Actually, the hotel shuttle will also take you to the mountain and pick you up. In addition, you can rent your ski equipment at the hotel downstairs and store your equipment at the hotel.
Rooms are OK. They were clean, but the windows were very dirty. You can't see much out the windows. Not much to see anyway since it is only a 3 story hotel. They have a concierge lounge so Elite members get free breakfast and also free Wi-Fi if your Elite.
This hotel is not located in the center of town (Main St) so if you are looking to be able to walk out to Main St... maybe this is not for you.

The other reviews here are accurate.  The physical condition of this property is pretty mediocre.  It's seen better days.  The place isn't horrible, but it's certainly not up to Marriotts level 6 properties.   Rooms, beds, sheets, towels, carpets etc are worn.  I had a room on the outside on lower level.  It was damp despite the dry heat and fire warnings outside.  The  staff is very friendly and tries to do the best they can.   At full price I'd stay elsewhere.  If you get a great deal perhaps it's ok.

We love Marriott beds, and that's why we love staying at a Marriott when we can.

Staying a bit away from Main Street, we stationed ourselves at the Park City Marriott for three nights earlier this month to get some snowboarding in.

Check in was a breeze and they gave us a little pamphlet of useful information like parking, shuttle schedules, etc.

We did ask for a king size bed, and the only one they had available was a handicap room.  She said the only real difference was the absence of a bathtub, which was fine with us.  She said if we didn't like it, we could change it later.  The king size bed was wonderful with all the comforts that a Marriott bed should.  However, we noticed there's a big problem with no tub in the bathroom.  The floor gets really wet - as in a huge puddle.  The floor isn't slanted enough to drain at a proper speed and you'll notice water getting everywhere.  Let's just say that I felt bad for housekeeping since they saw soaked towels all over the floor every day.  (We could have changed rooms, but came back too late each day to bother.)

Our room was on the third floor, so we didn't get to take advantage of those services offered for those staying on the Concierge level (4th floor).  There was a coffeemaker and mini fridge in our room, which is always nice.

Other yelpers mentioned the noise problem and we do have to concur.  The furniture is a bit noisy when you're closing drawers and doors, but the real noise comes from the floor above you.  If you're not up early, you soon will be because it's hard to ignore the footsteps above you.

There is free WiFi in the lobby and 3rd floor mezzanine area, or you could pay a charge to have it in your room.  There's also a 24 hours business center on the 3rd floor so you can check in and print your boarding passes.  Sweet!

The gym was actually more equipped than other hotels I've stayed at with a few machines and free weights.  The machines were more updated than most with mini TVs on them.  There's also an indoor pool, jacuzzi, and steam room on the 1st floor near the underground parking.  And yes, there is parking available underground.  Be sure to take advantage of that if snow is expected overnight!

Park City Marriott does offer free shuttles to Park City Mountain Resort and Deer Valley Resort, not The Canyons.  You can also take advantage of the free public buses that are available nearby.  Full price lift tickets are available at the gift shop.

They do have an onsite snow shop (Turner Ski) where you can rent equipment, wax you equipment or use their boot drying service.  There is a free ski and snowboard storage there, but it's only accessible when the shop is open.

Along with room service, there is the Park City Grill available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and Timbers is available for afternoon drinks.  There's also a little cafe in the lobby serving coffee.

Overall, our stay was average.  If we didn't have the whole wet floor problem and wore earplugs to bed, I'd probably give it a better rating.  But it definitely worked for us and we appreciated having plenty of room.

Should have known this place was going to be terrible after they screwed up the dates for my reservation. When I got there at 3:15pm (fifteen minutes after check in), they told me my room wasn't ready and would call me when it was. After about an hour of waiting in the lobby, I went to the front desk and our keys were just sitting there-no phone call. Our room was on the "first" floor, which meant the basement. We could hear cars and people walking by all night long. Also, our room smelled like chlorine and had the most uncomfortable bed and pillows I've ever slept on. We actually checked out a day early because this hotel was so unbearable. PS: If you want room service, don't count on it; they won't answer your call.

Just make sure you know the location of the hotel before you arrive and you wont be disappointed.

The hotel is about a mile or two from main street but has a bus stop for the free park city bus right on its doorstep.  Indeed the Marriott is one of their mandatory stops and busses arrive every 20 minutes.  The service runs till about 11pm but after that getting a taxi back is simple.

The hotel itself was fine by my standards, clean, well kept and with a really friendly staff.  There is an onsite restaurant and bar open till late but we didn't check those out.

Our room was surprisingly big for a mid range hotel.  Huge bed and very comfortable.  Nice big LCD tv, clean bathroom with great shower and in room coffee and tea facilities.  Wifi is annoyingly not free, but if you snag a room near to the lobby which has free wifi you can connect to that for gratis.

We managed to price line a night  here for just 70 dollars but the rack rate is pretty good by itself with nights starting from 99 bucks, not to mention offers like buy one night get the 2nd for 25.

The prices for breakfast which we didn't try also seemed a steal too.  For a mid range hotel, in the often uber expensive park city this place seemed like a great value to me.  Just be aware the hustle and bustle of main street isn't right outside your front door.

I've stayed here a couple times now and I really like this hotel. It's right in the middle of Park City which is surrounded by mountains & skiing. You don't have a direct to view of the mountains from the rooms, but you can see some of the peaks around the adjacent buildings. The staff was very friendly, room was clean and updated. The concierge breakfast was good as well.

Two rooms for the tail end of the ski season. The staff are great. Very helpful.  The rooms were nice.  If you are an Elite member the concierge room is great for the family breakfast and snack at night.

We rented a car but there is a shuttle to Park City Ski resort (you need to sign up the morning of).  There are also buses to town every 10 minutes (a lot of buses).  You can rent ski equipment in the hotel (we didn't - used rentskis.com ) but we did store our skis there (for free).  Made it real easy as the door to the storage area is about 20 feet from the street.

really nice place but very hard to find... visited Dec 14, 2014..

had a very good meal in the restaurant.. the Outlaw Burger was great...

bit of advice... PLEASE teach the bar how to make a proper gin martini... it is NOT made with sweet vermouth... the bartender didn't even know there was a dry vermouth.. gin martinis are served with OLIVES not lemon twists.. lemon twists are for vodka martinis...

having said all that we did have a very pleasant experience in the bar... they had a nice selection from High West Distillery... try the Rye... excellent...

The Park City Marriott is an older hotel.  The hotel is not really close to any of the attractions in the city.  It is away from the slopes.  It is a bit far from downtown and the shops and restaurants.  But, since I like to drive, it is not a problem.

The hotel is in need of a remodel.  That is exactly what they were doing at the time of our visit.   The main lobby was closed.  They had a temporary lobby to check guests in.  As messy as the remodel looks in the temporary lobby, their employees do a wonderful job in checking people into the hotel.

When the hotel is near its capacity, parking is tough to find.   They have an outdoor lot that is right outside their lobby, and an underground lot.  During our visit, the outdoor lot was always full.  I managed to get the last spot in the underground lot the night we visited.   They also have an agreement with a local business across the street to allow guests to park in their lot as well.

Although the hotel is under renovation at this time, the rooms are nice and clean.  Everything in the room worked without a problem.  Beds were comfortable.  The room has a large screen television with cable so that the wife can watch HGTV and dream.

They have nice pool located inside an atrium that we didn't use.   They also had a nice exercise room.  This was the first hotel that I've seen that provides earbuds in the exercise room.  I liked that they provide earbuds.

You have to pay for wifi at this hotel, unless you are like me and hang out in the temporary lobby and use the free wifi that is in their lobby.  Their wifi is strong enough that if you sit at the top of the stairs on the third floor, you will be able to connect to the internet.

The hotel gave me exactly what I wanted...a good night of sleep.  I can't ask for anything more.

If I could go 2.5 stars, I would.

The primary problem that most Yelpers write is in regards to noise... I agree 100%.  I am somewhat convinced that the walls and floors of this place are made of paper mâché.  Our room was very clean, made up well, a decent size... literally no complaints about that.  It was dark as a cave, even better!

4:15am the family above decides to wake up.  What is wrong with them, its 4 freaking 15?!?  Nonetheless, for the next hour plus it sounds like they are bouncing to Billy Blanks beats.  Literally every move someone made above, I could account for.  Bed to bathroom, bathroom to sink, hair dryer on, hair dryer off, "honey where are my socks?," hairdryer back on, "honey are you sure I packed those socks?"... you get the picture.  All of this before 5:30ish am.  Ugh.  Short night sleep.

I love many aspects of Marriott properties, generally speaking they are the only place that I stay (I am in a question to become super platinum) but this one you get what you pay for as far as a Marriott goes.

So- it works to get off the road.  Its clean, its not THAT bad.  Just bring earplugs or do what I will do if I come back.  TOP FLOOR ROOM, END OF HALL.

I found this to be a great home base for our vacation. Do yourself a favor and spring for concierge lounge access. Free breakfast and light snacks at dinner time but 24 hour access to hot coffee, tea and other refreshments. The entire staff was lovely, except for the bartender at Timbers who we found to be a compete asshole. Marriott if your listening, male bartender, brown hair, reason we didn't go back and spend money at your establishment. But that is the only negative. Frank, who operates the shuttle was amazing and made us feel welcome from beginning to end. He made a point to know our names and was full of local knowledge. He truly made a great stay better with wis warmth and kindness. He's an asset. The folks greeting guests and directing lobby traffic in the morning and afternoon were great. The hotel is very close to both canyons and park city (and I assume deer valley) and has a free shuttle to Main Street, park city and deer valley (not canyons).  It's a $12 can ride to canyons. Stay here and save some money compared to slope side lodging.  It's a great value and worth your time.

Stayed there recently for three nights, the hotel itself is fine(a little old) and the location is great as well as convienent parking which is free. The F&B is really bad,do not order Room Service worst ever!!! The F&B is below even Marriott Standards. It seem's after talking with management it is not a strong focus or concern, but it's cheaper then most properties in Park City so I guess you get what you pay for.

This was my 3rd stay at this hotel. I use Marriott points to stay during Sundance which is a great deal considering most places are very expensive or booked durning this time. The rooms are quite large and have a updated TVs and small refrigerators. The bedding is standard Marriott bedding. Close to everything and convenient.

It's about like most Marriotts just a little bit older. People are very friendly I will say that for them. Here's the problem. You have to have an outside room. Do not let them get you a room on the interior the hotel. That's over the swimming pool. Kids yell all hours the day and night at the pool. It's way too loud and completely aggravating. It's like an echo chamber. That's the main reason for the low rating. Second time I've been here and had the exact same experience. I'm a Platinum Elite Member with Marriott FYI. I stay in Marriott hotels all the time. All over the world.

Wow. Awesome experience and the price was right! We stayed over MLK weekend and were super impressed with every detail of this Marriott, the service, the free shuttle into town and to the Mountain, the breakfast...

Highly recommend this spot to those visiting Park city. The team here will take care of you! We had a nice room on the 4th floor, away from the pool. Our TV was brand new- and the free firepits outside were fun at nigjt! There is also a nice gym within.

We were able to snag a last minute room which was nice. We stopped at the bar there, where the friendly bartenders chatted with us as they made us yummy drinks.

The rooms were clean, quiet, and the beds were comfy.

I would stay there again. However I would never order the crusted French toast again.  It was a mouth full of disgusting. Plus the fruit on top tasted bad. I was so hungry too. :(

Overall, I would have given this place 4 stars if I didn't waste money on a disgusting breakfast that I couldn't even eat.

This Marriott is OK. I wanted a place to stay during ski season in Park City and nothing is cheap during this time.
This is your typical ski lodge resort style hotel- its only 3 or storeys tall. There is a ski shop on the first floor which is great if you need to get ski gear. We had breakfast in the restaurant in the lobby and it was ok. It was a buffet that had your usual eggs, bread, cereal, oatmeal but I wasn't that impressed.
Like all Marriotts, the bed was very comfortable. The size of the room was decent too.
Location wise, its great. There is free parking for hotel guests and its a short drive from The Canyons and Deer Valley.

If I could give any advice it is that you should never go here. Every staff member was short and rude. The restaurant food is very sub par and the bartender is a very big ass. He was not around to take drink orders for about 15 minutes then dint know how to make drinks. He spilled on my wife and just said oops. When I told the front desk person about the service or lack there of all they said is sorry. Sorry doesn't pay for the dry cleaning. I would never go back to eat or drink.

Stayed here during Sundance. Awful. Just awful.

Our room was dingy, the walls were like paper, and the service was subpar. The baggage attendant was so overly aggressive upon checkout, that I went to the front desk to complain. And then he promptly chased me out of the hotel, yelling.

Overall, great stay!

As far as Marriott's go I was pretty underwhelmed by this location. The hotel lobby and exterior are OK but the rooms and hallways need a drastic makeover. It seemed a bit run down and was definitely not as nice as lower level (this is a level 6) Marriott hotels. You can walk to a few things but not much and will definitely need a car or try to deal with their shuttle service.

Self parking was free and I was able to get underground parking during my stay. The fitness area was adequate and mostly empty when I used it. The pool/jacuzzi looked nice but were too crowded for me to ever venture out to use them.

The staff working weren't very friendly, but were not necessarily rude. The walls were so thin I could hear the guy in the room next to me snoring - lame. Wi-fi is not free which was also lame - I still get annoyed that "lower end" Marriott locations have free wif-fi but a resort level charges.

Nothing horrible but certainly not exceptional.

Like other reviewers are saying, this location is a bit underwhelming and not close to much, so be aware that you're not going to be within walking distance to skiing or Main St. And had I known of the noise issues I definitely would have booked elsewhere. The hotel was under construction during our stay which probably explains the lower-than-usual rate we were given.

The room itself was comfortable, updated, and spacious but we had the unfortunate luck of being given a room that overlooked an enclosed, very echo-y courtyard.

Since we were road tripping we didn't make it to Park City from California until 4AM, I had the reservationist make note of this on the reservation so that the hotel would be aware of our ultra-late arrival. When I walked up to the front desk I waited a good ten minutes before an agent came to help me, he seemed a bit annoyed he had to deal with a guest so early in the morning and I was a bit taken aback. I told him I was checking in and his response was, "You mean you're checking out?".

"No, I'm checking IN"

"Checking out."

At that point I had to throw my death stare and repeat myself one.more.time.

"I'm checking IN. I just got here from California."

Dude, do you really want to mess with a guest like that after she's been awake for 22 hours? Seriously? And why does your front desk staff not have a list of expected arrivals out so that you know to expect us? Hmm?

Anyway, the plan was for us to sleep in until about 10-12 and then go visit the town but those plans were interrupted by the screams of children coming from the echo chamber AKA courtyard outside of our room.

We sure felt refreshed after those 2 hours of sleep.

Great location, central to everything, whether it be Park City Historic Downtown or the Mountain Resort, the Canyons, Deer Valley, or Gorgoza Park...you are right in the middle of it all.  The staff was extremely friendly and even sent surprise birthday balloons and desserts to my son.  Plus there is a Hertz rental location onsite if you want to get out and explore the area beyond the Park City area.  Couldn't been happier with our hotel choice in Park City.  We'll be back.

*our stay was August 22-24, 2014*
I have never had a better experience! We had WONDERFUL interactions with every member of the staff. My husband and I stayed there for our anniversary. The check in went beautifully. I loved our room. We didn't mind not being around main Park City because the Marriott provides a FREE shuttle! We stayed two nights and the first night we went somewhere "off site" for dinner and we were super disappointed (that will be a different review!). We decided to try eating at DEN- which is the on site restaurant- and we were blown away! The breakfast was so delicious and you had so many options! The wait staff was full of personality (but not obnoxiously so) and gave top of the line service. The food was prepared well and seasoned just right. We decided to come back to the DEN for dinner too and it was so delicious there are not enough words in the English language for me to tell you how great it was. (side note: the staff at The Marriott helped us acquire a coupon book that gave us a Buy One Get One Free meal at The DEN!)
As for our room-- the bed was perfect for Husband but was a little more firm that I like. The room was cozy without being cramped. Everything was clean and in order. They had the room ready to go (no unfinished bed, missing toiletries or towels, etc.)
Husband and I will most assuredly be back and we cannot wait! Next time we may even take the kids... or not! :D

2 ** says, "Meh. I've experienced better." That puts it well..Still here for a week, we usually stay at Summit Watch, but we had an unused points cert we had to use by 4/1. So this was it. Here's the hits and misses:

Location was better than expected, quite a few dining options nearby. PC and DV are very close, or easily accessible by hotel shuttle or PC Bus.

On premises Starbucks and Ski Rental/storage.

Platinum member access to club 24/7, which was well-stocked and pretty useful.

Decent parking situation.

On-premises food was good (breakfast) and really good (room service dinner), with decent prices for kids. Room service was fast, server was a pro.

Housekeeping was superb, they did their best with the tired carpets.

3rd floor coin-op washing machine rinsed clothes in hot. That's not even a choice! Ruined a couple of things.

Wi-fi (even the upgraded version) kicks you out every 20-30 minutes.Just stops dead, you have to log off, wait, log back in.

Bed situation: Beds gave you option of either a massive down comforter (boiling) or a sheet (chilly.) No in between. Same with pillows, either a huge lounging pillow or lumpy feather pillow. We went to Wal-Mart to get normal foam pillows. The first is common to many Marriotts, the second not so much.

We asked about a rollaway, since we hadn't reserved them ahead of time; were told there were out. But then we see them parked for days in the hallways--always in the same spot. Like no one ever puts them away, so maybe they lose count. Same with room service leftovers, etc.--it's like the clean the hallways once a day and that's it.

Bathtub had a large mystery spot of black goo up check-in.

We were given room 246, which is more like first floor, since the 100s are partially under street level on that side. Worst rooms in the place. Besides hearing every sound from neighboring rooms (next door and above) the street noise off Sidewinder is **awful**.  Like living at a bus stop, and if it's not the PC or charter buses, it's delivery trucks. If you have to stay here, avoid the Sidewinder side!

The front desk told us Plats get a discounted breakfast buffet. The hostess told us the same thing. As did the guy in the club. But we never did get it rung up that way; the staff sort of ping-pongs around to all the tables, so you tell one something and two servers later the charges are wrong. (Every single time--two weeks later, I'm STILL trying to sort that mess out.)

It;'s mostly little annoyances, other than the noise situation (that others have mentioned.) But that's enough to say I won't be back.

I stayed here with two friends the week before Sundance (last week).  All the hotels in Park City are really expensive this time of year but the early booking by my friend saved us a suspicious amount of dough.  Since it was so much less than other places my expectations were set lower however this proved to be unnecessary.

From the first person to greet us (valet Wade) to the last person at checkout (Cienah) and everyone in between (Cory Cissel, Bob, the guys in concierge lounge, housekeeping, etc., etc.,) we were treated at least as well as you might be at the slope side or downtown more expensive resorts.  They were all very friendly and very helpful.  More thanks go out to the ski shop in the hotel whom were also friendly, helpful and reasonably priced.  I could rave on about the staff but you get the point.

The hotel itself was clean, warm (it was below zero most of the time), and recently remodeled. Not ultra modern but not too country either.  They had warm chocolate and cookies in the lobby during in the afternoon.  It would have been nice to have coffee in the morning, just saying.  The hotel is a small free shuttle ride to Main Street or slopes.  We were not dissappointed by the location because we looked it up on google maps before we booked it.  The lower price and later the staff offset the location.  I would defanitely stay here again.

The room was top floor outside wall with a very small balcony.  New flat screen TV, clean white sheets and duvets, clean carpets really nothing to complain about.  It was a quiet room but I don't think we had neighbors so I am not rating this.  We didn't use the pool / workout area so this is not rated either.

Park City has many excellent places to eat and drink so we only used the bar once.  Service was acceptable, staff was very friendly and talkative.  Cocktails were hit or miss but close enough for a Marriott hotel bar.

I think the place is awesome.  The people here make it awesome.  Thank you all at PCM.
