When I arrived at the hotel they informed me that I was in a room with a sleeper sofa. I had to pay an additional $20 a night to be moved into a room with a real bed.  Plus it had no microwave and was and supposed to have a full kitchen in the room.  Very disappointing especially at Sundance Film Festival prices.   I would not go back.

We had to check in offsite and the staff there didn't have our reservation.  When we did arrive our key didn't work.  The lobby is being renovated and has no on-site staff.  Out first night we crammed our family of 5 in a 2 bed room and only after we called the next day did we get what we paid for with no offer of a refund.  Don't stay here.

We had no heat for 2 days.  I slept in my jacket because it was so cold.  To top it off half the time our keys didn't work.  Avoid this place!!

We just returned from a week long stay at Shadow Ridge during the Sundance Film Festival.  The rooms were warm, clean and comfortable.  The staff was super friendly and accommodating.  There was a convenient ski shop in the lobby and a shuttle service to help us get around.  We had a terrific time.

Stayed here for Sundance...

-Location is AWESOME for snowboarding (3 min. walk to chairlift), cause public transportation is free in Park City, so getting to Main St. is easy as hell (this is the only good thing).
-Room was not worth $300 a night!!!  Especially since we didn't even get a free breakfast.
-We waited 45 minutes to check in at 6:00pm because only one employee was running the whole place... DURING SUNDANCE!  Is management fucking retarded?  So many pissed off people in the lobby.
-No bar, and place is run down.  Also, shop in lobby closes super early.

We peed off the balcony on to important looking things owned by the hotel, so take that!

When we arrived our room was given to someone else they did upgrade us to a bigger room but the worse part were their mattresses. Even my 6 years old was extremely unhappy w body ache sleeping on them. We were feeling every spring inter mattress and the noise each time we moved. Very uncomfortable after a day of skiing. Will not recommend it.

Stayed during Sundance, good location, room was fine.

But an expensive piece of camera gear went missing from my room. Never to be found. Receptionist was helpful but basically said they don't have it. Nothing they can do.

And when my wife went to get a replacement room key after losing hers the person at the front desk was very rude.

Very nice resort. I checked into the sister resort next door and the front desk manager informed that although my room was ready, it did not have and AC.  I was like hmm say what now? It is 105 out and there is no AC. Aww crap! So while I was thinking of what to do about that situation seeing as it was going to 105 in Utah for the duration that weekend, she called next door to the sister property and bam, room 215-1 with AC was all mine. It was a really nice room, especially since I believe the property are time shares. The was a little dated but bathroom was pretty big and it boasted a roman jacuzzi tub. It had a microwave and a small refridge as well as a little balcony. It did not have an iron or ironing board but luckily it was hot  and humid enough that by the time I had to wear what I wanted to wear, the wrinkles were out.

Parking in the garage can be tricky if you come in late so be advised that it is very limited. This place does have a laundry facility and also note that the front desk is only open from 8am to 10pm. Would I stay here again? Absolutely! It was quiet, convenient to Main street and there are ton of little shops and restaurants right next door! I can only imagine how packed this place gets during snow season!

I wouldn't recommend the place. While the front desk staff is super friendly, the rooms are dated and not worth the price. It is walking distance to the payday lift, which is the biggest plus. We thought having shuttle service to town would be appealing. We used it several times and the guy was friendly - then on the morning of our departure he took us 1/2 mile away for breakfast and we told him to pick us up in 50 mins. He never showed. We called the front desk 4 times and they couldn't reach him. We ended up having to wait 15 mins for a cab and missed our shuttle to SLC for the airport.  We were left scrambling for a ride to the airport. Then, to top it off, they added a travel protection fee to my reservation that I never agreed to - no opt in. Instead in the fine print of the 2nd page of the reservation they vaguely describe this charge and say you need to opt out. I called the manager and explained that I explicitly checked my reservation for room type, dates and charges. This charge is not stated in the email. It was 78 and the management would rather lose my business than refund my money. This is the 2nd time I've stayed here - was giving it a 2nd chance due to proximity to the lifts. Won't be back.

This is actually not a bad place considering it's only a very short walking distance to the ski resort! Although it's still quite expensive but it's the location that makes it worth the price. Honestly, this place is still the cheapest comparing with the ones in the area. The down side is there is only one ice machine on the basement in the west side. The room is clean & tidy. The bathroom can get some update. There's a jet tub in our bathroom but the water wouldn't stay hot or even warm enough to fill up the whole tub!

SUMMARY: Great location, but a bit run down and meh service. Got one with 2 queen beds for my friend and me. Facing the mountain with a balcony.

ROOM: OK: A bit run down, but a typical hotel room. Pillows were different types and only had 2 per bed. Beds were ok comfortable and sheets were meh. Not awful, but not great.

SERVICE: MEH: Nothing exceptional, but nothing bad. We did have problems with really high heat blasting in our room and they were good about figuring out what was going on and fixing it.

LOCATION: GREAT: As close to the lifts as you're going to get at this resort I think! 5 minute walk away from the base of the mountain. You can see people skiing from the balcony.

PARKING: They have free parking under the building for guests. They'll let you keep you car there for the day after you check out.
