Established in 2013.
The Torchlight Inn was a former guest house that was completely renovated in 2013. The inn sits across picturesque Main Street, Park City, with the world famous Park City Mountain Resort in the background. Chef Chris Munro is the owner and proprietor of the inn. A recent relocation from New England found Chris in her outdoor playground paradise. The Torchlight is directly across the street from the free public transit station and mountain bike trails run from the back deck of the Inn. Chris envisioned combining the charm and personal touch of a bed and breakfast with the comfort of a small boutique hotel. Breakfast is prepared daily to the guests specifications in the common lounge where you can relax and enjoy a delicious cup of fresh brewed coffee in front of the roaring wood fire. Each room has a panoramic view of beautiful downtown Park City and the world famous Park City Mountain Resort.

We had a great stay at the Torchlight Inn. Rooms were a good size and had a fireplace which is great for Park City in the winter. The owners were very sweet and breakfast was worth waking up early for. We definitely recommend it.

The hubbs and I wanted a change of scenery for our anniversary, and we are so glad that we decided to make the drive to Park City and The Torchlight Inn! The location of The Torchlight Inn is absolutely perfect as it sits just off of Park City's Main Street. In the warmer months, you could definitely walk to Main Street, and when it gets colder, Main Street is all of a two minute drive away. We stayed in the Vancouver room. Perfection! The room is beautifully decorated, and the bed was large and comfortable. The Vancouver room has a very nice view of Main Street, and it sits on the third floor next to the hot tub. All of the rooms are evenly spread out between three floors which allows for a great deal of privacy. Breakfast was as delicious as the room was beautiful. The most important meal of the day was a three-course affair - a fruit bowl, a pastry, and your choice of breakfast entree. I really appreciated that breakfast was restaurant style in that there was a new menu each morning allowing you choose from about five different options.
Here are a few things that came to my attention while at The Torchlight Inn -
Parking is a bit cramped. As per another reviewer, I would definitely recommend bringing your spare set of keys so that the owners can move vehicles around, if need be. Be sure to not park in front of the garage door on the right side as you pull in.
I don't remember seeing it on the website, but there is a hot tub, as I mentioned, on the third floor. It is accessible by stairs and elevator. In fact, all rooms are accessible by elevator.
While the Vancouver room suited our needs perfectly, I did notice the bed is very low to the ground. This may be something to consider if you have mobility issues.
Again, I don't remember seeing it on the website, but there is a maid service, which is somewhat unexpected for a B&B. If we had known, we probably would have declined the maid service, but it was a nice surprise to come back to a tidied up room.
Overall, we were very pleased with our stay, and we would definitely recommend The Torchlight Inn to anyone looking to get away!

My wife and I went to the torchlight inn website to make a reservation in August. The problem is that after you select the desired dates, if that date is booked it simply jumps to the soonest available date without telling you that the date you put in is booked. So even though we put in the correct date, we ended up booking the room for some date in July. Now we should have noticed sooner that we had booked the incorrect day, but what's the point in selecting specific dates if it won't specify that those dates are booked? When I called torchlight inn and explained the situation the owner would not offer any refund. I understand that this not her fault directly, but the website is extremely deceptive and it is very poor customer service to not recognize and fix the issue. For this reason I will never stay at The Torchlight Inn. The breakfast looks amazing though!

We took a spontaneous trip to Park City from southern Utah, and ended up staying at the Torchlight. Lola and Max greeted us at reception and kept us entertained till Russ arrived to take us up to our room. The room itself was spotlessly clean, with a great view of town and the mountains behind. The only thing I would add to the room would be some glassware for that 'by the fireplace' bottle of wine. But it was only a quick trip downstairs to ask Russ for glasses. We met Chris the next morning; she was a charming hostess, and cooked us a yummy breakfast. The little plate of home baked pastries served as an 'appetizer' was a highlight and Russ provided an exceptional pot of tea to accompany our morning meal.
Unfortunately, the spontaneous trip was only for the one night, and we had to head home. I spent an entertaining 15 minutes with Russ, Lola, and Max in the lobby while my friend went and unearthed our car from the snow, and then it was time to leave. We've already booked at the Torchlight for a trip in the autumn for my mum's 80th birthday. She's going to love it!

I had a wonderful time at the torchlight. The owners were gracious and hospitable and the accommodations were superb. Our room was very comfortable with a very nice bathroom. The breakfast was incredible! If I come back to Park City this is where I would stay.

So my husband and I decided to take a trip allllllllll the way to Park City because we apparently like to turn 30 minute drives into vacations. We decided to do this right after all the ski resorts had closed because we're cheapskates. In doing my research for this trip, I found a deal I couldn't refuse on this B&B, and we were quite impressed.
According to their website, this place opened for business at the end of 2013. It's on Deer Valley Drive along the traffic circle, making it entirely too convenient to Main Street and all it has to offer. There are six rooms, some with queen beds and some that are mini-suites. We were greeted warmly by innkeeper Chris and she led us to our room on the top floor, the Sochi room. It was tastefully decorated with a gas fireplace, comfortable bed, and balcony looking toward Main Street. We took some fresh baked cookies from the lobby as we brought our luggage up.
We had a little bit of time to kill before our dinner reservation, so I sampled some tea from the Keurig that was in the room. I had never used one of those things, so it was kind of a novelty. Then we decided to check out the hot tub, which was very near our room. There's a fireplace in front of it and it has that same nice view of the city. I definitely recommend trying it out if you stay here.
We watched some TV after our dinner and I mention that because it seems like they have every possible cable channel you can think of on the TV. Not that you'd be watching much TV while hanging out in Park City, but you know. (We had to find some Time Life music infomercials to drunkenly make fun of, and we found not one but TWO!)
In the morning they serve a pretty epic breakfast. The website says it's served between 730am and 930am, but they're happy to make it for you a little later if you want. We got up late and had lunch plans, so we just had a bit of fruit and a pastry and both were delicious. The breakfast menu included omelettes, frittatas, breakfast burritos, and just about anything else you could think of. Next time we're here, we'll be sure not to make plans to eat Mexican food for lunch. We also chatted for awhile with Chris and her boyfriend Russ, who helps run the place. They both were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our visit.
A couple of minor weird things: the main entrance to the place is not very well labeled, so it took us a minute to find it. Also, the parking is limited, so if you don't plan to use your car they ask you to give them your keys so they can move your car around if they need to. They put ours into the garage in the front of the place.
If you're looking for a quality B&B in a great location in Park City, it'd be hard to beat this one.
