Amazing!  So tranquil and beautiful!  My husband and I had a nice weekend getaway and are so thankful we chose Autumn Pond B and B.  Although the rooms were small, it was perfect for our needs.  Close to town, very clean, beautiful property.   John (the owner) was so friendly and helpful.  The breakfast was absolutely amazing.  John has a true talent for cooking!  We were full day and were able to save money by skipping lunch.  We highly recommend this bed and breakfast!

Our stay at this B&B was a great experience. Here are some of the highlights:
1) The breakfasts were FANTASTIC. I normally don't eat breakfast and don't care much for breakfast food but John is a great chef and I liked everything he made.

2) We stayed in country room #1, it was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Next time I think we'll go with country room #2 though, it had a comfy-looking recliner in it.

3) John's hospitality was lovely. Not remotely overbearing, very easy going yet attentive. He even put out an evening dessert on Sat. night. He was also a wealth of local info.

4) The B&B is just far enough from the main drag to be away from the noise, but still close to everything. It feels more remote than it actually is, which is great.

5) We reserved the room as a last-minute special at $103 per night which is a great rate!

I'm not going to call these 'cons,' just some things to be aware of if you are particularly picky:

1) Each room has it's own bathroom (which is great) but the showers are tiny. The rooms are small but in a cozy way and if you need more space the common living room area was nice. Outside was even better!

2) I normally sleep with blackout curtains and am sensitive to light so I found the bedroom still too light at night. But I hung a blanket over the curtain rod and that helped.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others, and will be back again in the future!

We booked this B and B at the last minute and couldn't have been happier with what we received! The house was charming and very comfortable. The living room was stocked with tea, games, and even a Time Magazine from 1969, noting Apollo 12!

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. And the breakfast, wow! Amazing...and huge! Fruit, sausage, frittata, and bread! And there was even dessert! Very yummy. John was a great host and chef. He gave us tips on where to eat in Leavenworth and helped us plan our hike.

I would definitely recommend staying here.

I absolutely agree with the previous reviewer comments. This was a wonderful Bed & Breakfast experience.  The website photos understate the beautiful, tranquil, and tastefully cozy house/grounds.  My husband and I could not have picked a better place!

My wife & I stayed for 2 nights during the Christmas holiday season, & we had a terrific experience. The location is less than a mile from downtown, which makes walking a great option. It also means it is quieter & more peaceful. John is a great host & made sure everything was perfect. Definitely recommended!

My husband and I stayed here recently and enjoyed our stay very much. John, the host and cook, is personable and a wonderful chef. The breakfast was a delight. The  grounds are  pretty and peaceful. We watched a blue heron perched near the pond in the morning. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The living room and dining area is bright and cheery. My husband and I both noticed how relaxed we felt the entire time we were there. We are looking forward to staying again.

Excellent accommodations.  I highly recommend John and his facility.  He gives the personal touch to everything he does and then a little bit more.  Five stars isn't enough.

Let's preface everything by saying, this establishment charged us $119. Under no circumstances was this $119 experience. Anywhere else you go and receive the same hospitality, amenities, and 5 star breakfast would easily cost you $250 a night, bare minimum. I have never had such an incredible experience in lodging. John, the owner/operator of Autumn Pond, was at the door to greet us when we arrived and proceeded to give us a walk through and inform us of breakfast in the morning..etc. I made the mistake of thinking Danishes and coffee. We were served an impeccable frittata, fresh fruit, glazed sausage, cranberry and orange scones, cider, coffee, fresh apple crisp.. It was. AMAZING. Our room was clean, comfortable, and tasteful. Nice sheets! I can't imagine staying anywhere else the next time we return to Leavenworth. There aren't enough good things to be said about this quaint and hospitable B&B. you will not be disappointed!

Best place to stay in Leavenworth. Hands down the BEST breakfasts I've ever had! John is a wonderful/knowledgeable/conversational host. And he happens to be the best breakfast chef around. I've stayed here twice with my boyfriend over the last two winters. The property is beautiful, the living spaces are tastefully decorated (not cluttered like some B&Bs). Each room has their own bathroom which is a huge plus. The walls are well insulated, I've never heard any other guests while staying there.

There are always coffee/tea and baked goods available. I have a lactose allergy and John was INCREDIBLY accommodating, more so than I would ever expect. He made me a completely separate breakfast, everything with coconut milk or oil. I would probably guess that if you were to go to a restaurant and order a breakfast like his it would cost about $20. He thoroughly explains how he made it (which I genuinely appreciate).

Basically, staying at Autumn Pond is like being at home with incredible breakfasts that you don't have to make.
