Owners Russel and Don offer a nice, clean and quiet place to stay, as well as provide an adequate breakfast that is very healthy and, most importantly, add that helpful touch that most hotels can't or won't provide. For instance, my husband forgot to pack cuff-links for his dress shirt and Don very graciously offered a pair to use, but also told my husband to "Keep them." My husband returned them and told Don that most likely another guest will need a pair of cuff links. Also I needed some ice for my sprained hand and Russel promptly provided a gel cold-pak that I could store in the small fridge in the sun porch off the bedroom.
We had a really nice time at this place.

I was very well taken care of by my very friendly - and not at all invasive - hosts. Discussions over breakfast with our hosts and other guests were a delight. Don and Russell went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and taken care of. The establishment is elegant, clean, well-taken care of and full of interesting objects for the eye and mind.

I really thought this place was cute and in the perfect spot for our weekend in Seattle. Though there were a couple hiccups...
I booked kind of last minute, and had my heart set on the Emerald Room. I called, and they said that it was booked for Friday, and that they highly recommended the Attic Room and then Saturday if we wanted to switch we had the option.
We arrived rather late, after spending the day with my grandmother in the woods close to Belfair. The owners were nice enough, but made us pay upfront, the second we got there. We were thinking this was the norm, but later heard one of the owners tell someone at breakfast on their LAST day that they needed to swipe their card.
Were we too hooligan looking to deserve the same treatment?
They also made a comment while we were walking upstairs, "No running up and down the stairs after dark. We have an older couple staying with us." You must be kidding me. I am 27 years old, and definitely not going to be "running up and down the stairs." However, we paid the same amount as the older couple, and deserve a little respect as well.
The Attic Room was kind of out dated, the bathroom and ceiling height were really small. Sure it was cute and quaint, but we were at least wanting a romantic shower that could fit two. The owners were hesitant to offer us what they had over the phone, and the reason I booked the B&B on Broadway, the Emerald Room for our last night. I was getting the vibe that they didn't want to tidy up two rooms from the same couple. But we made the switch anyway, and boy was it worth it.
The room was spacious enough for us, had a beautiful balcony, and to our surprise, this bathroom was completely updated! Walk in shower and shower heads for two, and a steam function to boot! If you plan on booking here, settle for nothing less than the Emerald Room.
The breakfast was the same everyday. It filled us up, but we were hoping they would mix it up, especially if you are having the same guests more than one night.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bed & Breakfast On Broadway. Beautiful home with wonderful artwork. Perfect location just steps away from great shopping and restaurants in the Capitol Hill neighborhood.

Made reservation which they confirmed in writing. Several weeks later they called and said too bad, your reservation is cancelled.

I booked the Ditto room here 2 months in advance from their website and got an email confirmation. We drove half a day to find out they had no record of our reservation. I showed the owner the email confirmation and he said theirs don't look like that even though it came from his email and you can't book a room from any other site.
I had to spend 3 hours looking for a new place to stay. Finally getting lucky because of a cancelation.
The house is in a nice neighborhood but it didn't really look like the photos. Granted we didn't get to see the room we were supposed to have.

Pros: --extemely friendly, helpful hosts
--delicious, nutritious breakfast
--beautiful place to stay
Cons: --same breakfast every day
--smells kinda like mothballs in the house
A few notes: --Don't get the attic room if you're more than like 5'6". My partner is 6'3" and he had walk around like a hunchback the whole time.
--We didn't feel like the website misrepresented the place. It seemed accurate to us.
--We had a great time; we loved it!
