This is either a fairly new Courtyard or recently remodeled.
The menu isn't as established as other Courtyards, I heard complaints from other patrons at the Bistro. I was asked to write down my last name to start a tab - which is very odd for Courtyard. I came to understand why when the staff spent the entire time in the back despite me being their only customer. Either the Bistro doesn't generate a lot of revenue so staff doesn't feel staying in sight is needed, or the staff is so inattentive customers give up and leave.
I usually stay at the Courtyard downtown but it was booked. This location is MUCH quieter.

This must be a relatively newer location because it's quite clean and still fresh. Located right on the main road near the airport entrance, if you're planning an overnight here then you would do well. Or if you're just needing to be in the South Milwaukee area, its a good property. Plenty of parking but there are also some good restaurants within walking distance (try the #71 at the Pho Hai Tuyet).
I found that my room was mostly quiet. Only once did I overhear a neighbor shouting at his television set during what was probably a sporting event of some kind. No noise from the airport, no noise from the parking lot and no noise from the hallway.
I did not visit the restaurant (why, when there are plenty of restaurants nearby?) and didn't make use of the indoor pool or exercise room.
The room was comfortable for an extended stay with a mini-fridge, large screen television and a coffee service. The walk-in shower was comfortable. The cleaning crew did a good job with my room.
I would stay here again.

The front desk staff is outstanding and you are oh so close to the airport. Everything is up to date and modern. Internet is super fast. The Bistro is good enough that you don't have to go out to eat. My go to location when having that first flight out in the morning

This is a brand new, built from scratch Courtyard and it shows. It's less tired, more open and colorful than older Courtyards. It has a great lobby. Located on the edge of town, not far from the airport. But this has to be the quietest airport hotel ever, since I never heard the sound of a jet plane. At the hotel there's a shuttle to and from the airport and the Amtrak station..
The people who work here are really nice--hey, this IS Wisconsin. There's a restaurant in the lobby that will serve you a modest breakfast or dinner. But if you need a place to eat, there are a dozen decent choices in walking distance, including Japanese, Mexican, Middle Eastern and Indian. The cross street, Layton, is pretty much a semi-suburban restaurant row.
And let's not forget Milwaukee, which is probably why you're here in the first place. For urbanites who are not afraid of public transportation that can be a little rough, the No. 80 bus, which stops 1 block away, will take you to Walkers Point or downtown in 15-20 minutes for a minuscule fare. No need for cab or car. So if your hotel choices in the city center are fully booked and you're forced to the edge of town, like I was, you could do a lot worse than staying at this Courtyard Marriott.

This is a very nice Courtyard that is brand new. As many others have said, the place is immaculate and the finish is very nice. The staff was also very friendly and attentive as we checked in and needed a ride to the airport.
The lobby has a bar/restaurant that is open until 10pm and the prices of beer are not too bad $5 (bottle). They do have a breakfast at a cost, the muffins are pretty good especially if you have them warmed up.
The exercise room is decent with a few treadmills, and elliptical and some free weights. The treadmills all have TV's and they supply towels. The water dispenser was broken when I was there, but there were water fountains right outside the room. The Pool is a complete joke, it is slightly larger than a bathtub, and there is also a small hot tub.
Overall a VERY convient hotel if you are planning to fly out of MKE.....it is literally 5min away. They also provide a shuttle to and from the airport which is convenient. My only gripe during the stay was that we asked for flat sheets that were never delivered until we asked again, and when they were finally delivered they had multiple stains on them. They smelled washed, but the stains were kind of gross.
If you are looking for a place to get take-out and you have a car....check out Kim's Thai to go....the best Thai food in the midwest.
