Standard set up good for business travel for around $150 a night that includes free wireless internet with decent speed, delivered newspaper, and simple breakfast.

Pluses: Clean linens with room furnishings in good shape, plenty of free parking, convenient to airport and main freeways. A/C cools room, iron and board work well, housekeeping is on the ball, crispy apples and cookies to snack on. Good business center with two computers to access. Very attentive front desk and staff. Pool and exercise room seemed in good shape.

Not so great: Too close to the main drag that can be noisy with trucks and cars zipping by late into the night. Breakfast selection pretty limited with cereals, yogurt and soggy canned fruit salad, donuts or sausage patty and biscuit but no eggs! Beware the mutant french toast strips-kind of a pale yellow, greasy rectangular blob of flour. Lemon-yellow oranges, and no bananas. Noisy refrigerator.

Good for business travel, but limited appeal if you are looking for interesting things to see and do in the local area with your family (unless you enjoy visiting auto dealerships, strip malls, and fast food.)

We love this hotel!  The staff is the most efficient and friendly we have ever experienced.  We stayed here instead of downtown and couldn't be happier and are staying here again on our next visit.  We arranged for my 83 yr old in laws to stay here the night before their flight and they were treated so well. During our first stay our room was next to the elevator and we asked to have it switched.  They were very busy and almost booked. We were switched with no trouble and with a smile! This is what customer service is all about and the price is right too!  The breakfast staff treated us like family and we all were give full size water bottles because of the really hot weather.

During a recent stay in Milwaukee, we chose this location instead of the downtown location to save money and be closer to the airport. We were not sure what to expect, being 8 miles from downtown and so close to the airport, but everything turned out great!

For just $99/night (weekend rate, plus taxes and fees), we got a second-floor room (we dislike the ground floor) with two queen beds, a flat-screen TV, mini-fridge, wireless Internet access, and some fairly typical hotel furniture. In the bathroom, highlights included granite countertops, a 3-way mirror, a sleek stainless steel faucet, and an exhaust fan. A warm tray of cookies was sitting by the front desk when we returned from dinner, and coffee is available 24 hours per day -- the "robusto" isn't half bad!

Our room had a decent view of planes landing at General Mitchell International Airport, but noise was not a problem for us. We did not use the pool, exercise room, or "business center" during our stay, but it was nice to know they were available. The continental breakfast was pretty ho-hum, but I managed to score a tasty glazed cake doughnut, a 6-ounce cup of yoghurt, and some cereal, plus more of the "robusto" coffee I had had the night before.

A physical Internet connection would have been nice, in addition to or in place of the wireless connection, but we got by with wireless. We had to drive several miles to find a good dinner spot, but it was expected. And the airport location paid off in the morning, when we had no trouble getting to the airport, thanks to the printed directions from the front desk staff. Good amenities and great service all around!

This is my second stay here, but definitely not my last. The last two nights at a different chain hotel were less than satisfactory, so to walk into this place was a real pleasure.

I don't think I have ever had a better check in experience. I got in at 2:30, so my assigned room wasn't ready, but the super nice lady at the desk (I should have noted her name) found me another room. It didn't hurt that I recently earned Diamond VIP status with Hilton Honors, but I could tell she would have treated me the same regardless.

The room was very, very fresh and clean compared to the last hotel. There was a nice LCD TV with a crystal clear picture, plus a fridge. A lot of hotels near airports seem to not have fridges (probably because most people only stay by the airport for one night) so it was nice to have since I like cold water in the morning.

The exercise room was very nice, with an elliptical, two treadmills and a bike, all with their own TV. There was also a rack of dumbbells, water and sanitizer for hands and equipment.

The business center computer and printer worked perfectly, and the wireless Internet in the room was flawless.

Breakfast was usual Hampton fare - slightly better than most hotels in this class. The noise from the airport was virtually none, and it was nice to be so close for the morning flight.

When I went out to the car in the morning I found a guy brushing the snow off all the car windows. Wow!

This is how a hotel should be.

The highway to downtown was closed for repair so I had to figure out how to get to downtown by street.  Instead of 15 minute drive, it took about 25-30 minutes.  My fault, I got lost.  Staff and amenities were excellent.  Breakfast was good and just right.  Price was also excellent.  Will come here again.  Very close to airport and free shuttle and wi-fi.

I recently stayed at this Hampton with my sister and I was unsure what to expect since I hadn't stayed at a Hampton in years.  I am happy to say that it more than met my expectations for a 'value' priced hotel.  We were both very pleased with the overall appearance and upgrades that the hotel had.

Pros for this hotel:
- Clean and affordable
- Easy to get to from the interstate
- Only 10 miles away from Miller Park (we went to see a Brewers game on our trip)
- Delicious breakfast with more options than usual for a free breakfast
- Surprisingly comfortable beds
- Small but nice fitness center

I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the Milwaukee area.

I was absolutely pleasantly surprised about this place. When you pull up, your first impression is that it's dated.

The lobby is nicer but really what won me over was the staff. Tim and Bethany at the front desk were the definition of perfect customer service. They seemed to enjoy their jobs because it shows in how genuinely friendly they were. Tim recommended a BBQ place nearby (Puddle Jumpers was so good!) and when we got back, they even saved a couple of Hampton's trademark fresh-baked cookies just for us.

The room was dated but you could tell that the cleaning staff took great care in making the place clean and welcoming. Who does towel origami anymore? Apparently they do.

In the morning we were greeted by the front staff -- even my mom doesn't greet me like that. Breakfast options were better than I expected. They had hot breakfast options and I made my own waffle.

I have to say that this place could've been easily 2-3 stars if it weren't for all the extra things they do to make your stay pleasant.

Not my favorite Hampton inn. But for the price was a great choice. Desk staff was a little unfriendly but other staff members were great.

Very nice hotel. Exceptionally clean. All staff was very friendly and helpful. Great additional amenities at no extra charge. Free breakfast. Eggs, toast, oatmeal, etc.
Don't have time for breakfast, they have a to go brown bag version. Great idea!  Shuttle to airport was easy. Park & fly is nice. Will definately be my hotel of choice when visiting the milwaukee area again.
