Actually the rooms are really nice. The beds are nice and big and fluffy. It's like sleeping on clouds. The room probably pass for 3 to 3.5 stars but, the price is at 2 star prices. Besides, it's right across the street from the airport.

Last month, while attending a three-day conference at an upscale hotel downtown, I opted to stay instead at this Super 8 for one-third the cost and to commute by public bus for $2.25 each way. As a frugal consumer, I was grateful to discover this reasonably priced lodging solution that was within my conference budget.
For approximately $60 per night, I had a comfortable and clean, non-smoking room complete with a king-sized bed, hair dryer, and ironing board, and a desk to spread out and review materials for the following day. The breakfast was limited but adequate for my needs, with cereal, milk, and bananas. The hotel staff was competent, and, in a situation in which I had questions, the clerk was friendly and knowledgeable.
My car was safe all day in the hotel's free lot. The Green Line bus picked me up and dropped me off less than a block from the hotel, and the 30-minute ride downtown was quick, safe, and reliable, even when I was returning after 9 PM from a late dinner or scrambling to make the conference's first session at 8 AM.
In short, while the Super 8 is not plush or fancy, it superbly met my needs for this occasion, and I would not hesitate to stay here again under similar circumstances.

Don't expect to see a lot here. For me it was a good place to stay before an early morning flight. Long term parking was a big plus when I was making a decission to stay here.

Surprisingly I did not hear one airplane while I was there. Even though it's located literally across from the airport. Staff were friendly and fast. The bed seemed hard but was actually really comfortable. The rooms overall cleanliness was good. Bathroom had some wear to it but was clean. Nothing fancy but Would stay again if needed a nights stay.

The beds were mediocre. My back only hurt a little bit when I woke up. The beds are way too soft. It's right across from the airport so a very good location for people from the airport. The shower was like a fire hose. The room was large enough. Tv in the room had a good picture and plenty of channels. The breakfast was fine. Cereal hard boiled eggs and yogurt. The worst thing is they will NOT change the tv in the breakfast area from Fox News.

They're not joking when they say "located directly across from the Milwaukee General Mitchell International Airport." Location, location, location is worth the 4 stars alone. If you need to get to the airport early this is the ticket. They have great park and fly deals available. We didn't have to pay to leave our car there for the 5 days and the room was only about $80 on a Sunday night. (Or I guess you could say it was $16 a night to park the car, but you get a free night's stay---whicever fits your fancy.)
**They do charge you for the safe in the room UNLESS you specify NOT to. It's less than a $2.00 fee, but still. That's a bit silly as I doubt most of us use it.**
They have an airport courtesty shuttle that leaves every 1/2 an hour or so (but not at say 10 and 10:30. More like 10:10 and 10:40). Gets you to your terminal in 5 mins. door to door. They also are kind enough to inquire as to what shuttle you need the night you check in, so that it's all taken care of. On the way back we just happened to time it perfectly and the guy was there as we were leaving the baggage claim area. He dropped us off right in front of our car! (Just remember we should probably thank these guys for such great service with a few extra $$)
We stayed in Room 123. I did find an empty Doritos bag in between the night stand and the bed. Other than that it was clean and mostly comfortable, about all I ask out of most of my hotel rooms. (It was a bit chilly and we didn't want to mess too much with the heater because we had to set up the pack and play right in front of the heater. Didn't want to toast the toddler in the process.) Obviously, we didn't have much extra space to set up a pack and play, but we were able to set it up, at least. Bathroom is on the smaller side, too, but they do give you the basics of shampoo and conditioner.
They start their breakfasts nice and early--5am, so they clearly cater to their airport customers, which is great. They had waffles you could make and bagels and cereal. Not too much in terms of fresh fruit, but I think we were able to snag an apple for later. The breakfast room was nice. It was spacious and had a big TV to watch the news/weather, etc. on. Our room was just right down the hall from the breakfast area, so very convenient.
We didn't hear much noise either and that was a plus. Downside is it isn't pet-friendly, but thankfully our pups weren't going to FL with us, but an FYI to others.
Would stay there again if I had an early flight out of MKE. (Actually got the recommendation from my parents who used it a lot to come visit me. It was a good recommendation and am happy to share it with others as Super 8s aren't my ideal hotel to book.)
