Very nice. Cheaper than the Quality Inn where I'd stayed the night before, and a WHOLE lot nicer. I really liked the lobby, and the rooms were nice. Everything smelled good and was very clean.

With all the family style hotels, this was a great place for us and or 2 teenagers

Pretty damn good price, not much more expensive than your basic chain hotels, and I expected to receive less.  It's a beautiful hotel competing against dives.  The girlfriend loved it.  I would definitely stay here again.

We had leftovers from a restaurant, but no eating utensils.  The good man behind the counter searched for some plastic utensils for us but found none.  Instead, he brought us some silverware and napkins from the attached breakfast eating area.  Awesome.

One of the better hotels in the Dells, but our mattress was awful - almost flat! The carpet and chair were stained in the room at our last visit. This place is well located and we like that there is no Waterpark, but they have a relationship with the Wilderness Resort for Waterpark action.

Great place to stay if you like paper thin walls and your "neighbors" keeping your family up from 3 - 4 am..........and don't be fooled by the "suite"......its a coach that pulls out into a dingle bed and is separated from the king bed by the bathroom. Bed is GREAT if you like sleeping on a parking lot, although the parking lot may be softer.

The rooms are cheap, the suite went for $129 a night, or for $165 we did the package that included a $75 credit at the Del-bar (also horrible and reviewed separately). Tvs are old style, 25" tubes, and bathroom has shower/tub combo. There is a small fridge in the room.

Positives: good cookies at check in, friendly staff, and a solid breakfast. I got 2 "free" for being a Hilton Diamond member, but its only $9.95 per adult and $4.95 for kids. We had eggs over easy (good), french toast (solid), pancakes (very good), and egg white omlet (decent). Bacon, sausage and breakfast potato's were good. Never made it down to the pool, although there were lots of older people hanging out.  Bathroom was clean and there were lots of towels.

No way I would EVER stay here as a biz traveler, and would not subject the family to the think walls here again.

**Beware that the check out time is 11 am, however they were great in letting us stay later.

If you are a young dirt ball who needs a place to party this is your spot.......

One of the best hotels I've stayed in.

    - Reasonable rates
    - Clean rooms with no strange odors
    - Comfortable bed
    - Clean and bright bathroom/shower
    - Thermostat controlled heat/air
    - Microwave, fridge, and complimentary high-speed internet access in all rooms
    - Fitness room
    - No indoor waterpark or fancy pool inside (although there is a nice pool and jacuzzi) which means not a lot of kids running around.

    - No fan in bathroom
    - Lame game room
    - Expensive breakfast

Overall an exceptional value for the money. If you're looking for a quiet hotel stay, this is a good pick.

We stayed her this last weekend after a wedding.  They price was very reasonable.  We stayed here to avoid the other Dells hotels that are twice the price, and smell like chlorine.  We are glad we chose the Hilton.  The front desk attendant was very nice, and he even got us a plate and fork for some taco bell we had gotten.  He even tried to upgrade us to a balcony room!  The room was clean, and everything seemed fairly new.  Parking was free, they had a nice pool and computer room, and there was free coffee in the morning.  Not bad!

Probably the best hotel in the dells. Overpriced but you get what you pay for. Clean room, everything was neat and organized. The name of the hotel says it all. They have a good breakfast in the morning too. 5 Star

We used Yelp and tripadvisor and decided to go with the Garden Inn.  We got the best price through the direct hotel website and decided to purchase the breakfast package.  Wasn't sure but it was a good value half price compared to buying the day of.  The food was good both cold and hot options and the hot food was cooked to order.  Portion size was good and better quality than the buffet style breakfasts.  The room was clean and the beds and furniture was comfortable.  No complaints here and would not hesitate to use them again.

I travel a TON and I stay in hotels about 100 days a year.  This Hilton Garden Inn is one of the nicest, cleanest, and accommodating I have stayed in.  My one suggestion is a restaurant.

Great stay!  Very clean, pool was nice and kid friendly, and the hotel was located in am area that made it easy to access all parts of the Dells.  No complaints at all.

Clean hotel, free parking, friendly staff.  First time staying at this hotel and we had a good experience.  The room is clean and the best part is they serve breakfast.  It is a buffet and your meal is cooked to order.  After a long day from the waterpark, it is a nice touch that the hotel has a snack as you enter the lobby by the bar ( I think it is some kind of cookie bar) and iced lemon water.  We will definitely return to this hotel.

Great hotel, great location, great staff. Kyle is a great bartender, very fun to talk to and helpful with the local area. He recommended a place to eat and was spot on. Our room's bathroom was a touch dated, but everything was clean. We will be back!

The hotel itself was clean and check-in was easy. Two things that made the stay uncomfortable...1) the room across from us was fragrant with pot smokers the entire weekend. You'd follow their trail from the door into the elevators into the lobby. Loved having that conversation with my child i.e. "What's that awful smell, mom?" 2) Housekeeping walked in on me WITHOUT KNOCKING on our final day. I received a "sorry, we'd thought you left" but COME ON! It was about 8:30a.m., not even close to check-out time. When I spoke to the front desk I received a "I'll mention it to the manager" but no concern whatsoever.

Outstanding location, super friendly staff, and super well maintained property.  Have stayed here twice and would highly recommend it and plan to stay here again.  Very good value for the spend as well.  Within walking distance to several nice restaurants and bars.  Scenery around the hotel and landscaping very nice as well!

Fantastic service.  Had to cancel hours before arrival due to weather and them gave me no issues.  Arrived on the second day and me room had no heat.  They gave me another room immediately and allowed me to move my things at my convenience.  Did I mention this was 3am when I had to do this.  They also gave me a couple breakfast coupons and late check out.  Outstanding Hilton Garden Inn.  You hire great people.

*******Need to edit/add info to my review as we have hit a major snag in our otherwise nice stay. Seems Hilton doesn't know what is going on as they charged both my credit card as well as my husband's card for the 1 night stay. Absolutely ridiculous. I gave my card at time of reservation and check in. My husband used his card to purchase the Noah's Ark tickets which was a separate transaction. There is NO reason why his card AND my card should have been charged for the room. His card has had a hold on the funds for weeks now (we visited 8/16) which is causing a major headache. When we noticed he called on 8/21 or 8/22 to report the problem. Was told someone from accounting would call us back. Never received a call. I just called and after back and forth was told that it was refunded (his card only) and that it should pop up in 2-3 days. OK, what about the fact that you have had a hold on funds on his card since 8/16...10 days??? We travel a lot throughout the year and I am not sure I will stay here again.

    Per their website:

We promise to do whatever it takes to ensure you're satisfied, or you don't pay. You can count on us. GUARANTEED™. The Hilton Garden Inn Promise reflects our focus on hospitality and integrity. We are committed to providing an excellent hotel experience for every guest, every time.

Guess what Hilton...I'm not satisfied...AT ALL!

Sure, it is a nice hotel but when you are double charged with no answers or quick turnaround time it is pretty irrelevant.

So glad we stayed here during our recent Dells trip. I've been going to the Dells since I was a baby and we've always stayed at one of the various motels. Now that the unnamed waterpark is basically taking over the Dells, the quality of the motels have significantly gone down hill. Also, I am not a fan of how the various motels/inns impose a 2 night minimum stay on the weekends, 1 night is plenty for us. After some searching I came across the Hilton Garden Inn and I am so glad that I did.

Once you walk through the doors to the lobby, you don't even feel like you are in the Dells. The whole hotel is super clean and very modern. There was complimentary fruit infused water, coffee as well as some danishes when we arrived. There are  a few hot tubs outside and a nice indoor pool (that waterpark I mentioned above is tearing out or filling in with concrete all the pools at the various motels that they are buying, it is really sad and pathetic looking), we didn't use the pool but it looked clean and maintained.

We tried to check in around noon and our reserved room wasn't ready but we were upgraded to a suite that was available. The upgrade and early check in was very much appreciated. Our room was great and again...super clean (a rarity in the Dells). The only minor complaint I have about the room was the a/c vent was directly above the bed so at night we had to turn the air down. Oh, and the shower head pressure wasn't the best but the water was super warm/hot so it wasn't that big of a deal. Bathroom also lacks a fan so takes a bit for the steam from shower to clear out. No fault of the hotel but we were woken up around 2:30 am by the fire alarm, apparently some genius decided to microwave something they shouldn't have. Other than the fire alarm, we didn't hear any other noise from the other guests (we were on the 4th floor so no one was above us).

We were also able to purchase discounted Noah's Ark tickets from the front desk which saved us a few bucks. Oh, and the wi-fi is free and super fast!!

Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend Hilton Garden Inn to anyone going to the Dells. It is a bit pricier but worth it! I would rather spend a little bit more for 1 night than stay at an unclean-motel down the street for the 2 night minimum. Upset with myself that I haven't been coming here in the years past!

The nicest hotel I have found in the dells.  It is very centrally located and walking distance to many places.  Very clean, nice staff, and friendly atmosphere.  Booked the week of my stay and the price was very reasonable as well.

We came to Wisconsin to visit family and study aquaponic gardening. We used Hotels.com for our search inquiry. Our foremost needs are non smoking room with a comfortable bed. The search guide listed Hilton Garden Inn as a "one bedroom suite" non smoking with premium bedding. Due to my spouse snoring, I was thrilled to find a one bedroom suite. Perfect, we booked it!

Upon our arrival we were impressed, the lobby appears to be recently updated with a pretty water feature, double sided fireplace, several comfy chairs, breakfast cafe, small bar and sundries for the unexpected. The front desk staff was friendly, interactive and offered us ice cold cucumber water, nice touch. We were impressed and thrilled to finally get a hot shower and some rest after hours of travel.

A little disappointed when we opened the door to our "suite" it was just an average hotel room. However it was clean and a balcony overlooking established pine trees were beautiful. We quickly realized as we settled in for the night, that the walls and doors are paper thin and the bed is NOT premium.

Until well after midnight we heard doors opening & slamming, people talking loud from surrounding rooms, chairs sliding across floors, loud plumbing pipes from within the walls. called the front desk a couple times however, no response. The noise continued for hours, we finally fell asleep after pure exhaustion from hours of travel.

The following morning I went downstairs and spoke to a male front desk staff explained our evening. He was apologetic and assured me they would have a new room ready by 12pm. Perfect I felt like he cared and addressed our needs.

After returning from a busy day we stopped by the front desk to pick up the keys to our new room. Only to lead to another disappointment the gentleman had neglected to follow through with his promise. Not one of the staff members knew of the room change. The front desk staff scrambled and luckily found us a room on the 4th floor. This room is quieter but has that musty old smell.

On a positive note this hotel would be ideal for a family summer trip. Nearby are several water parks (it looks like Vegas for kids, fun for everyone)  and mom/dad will appreciate the shopping outlets, (ask for your VIP pass for additional discounts at most of the restaurants and retail stores). Making your vacation to Wisconsin Dells affordable.

We stayed at this hotel on a Sunday night in January so as you can imagine, the hotel wasn't very busy. The main reason for our stay was to have a quick little get a way from Milwaukee, but it was a bonus that this hotel had good reviews and a whirlpool in the room! When we got in the room we also has an electric fireplace which was great (it heated up fast, almost too much).

It's located a couple of miles from the main strip but it's close enough to drive and there are places close by where you can eat/play.

We didn't eat at the hotel or use the bar so I can't speak to that, but they did have an affordable breakfast menu and a nice dining area off of the lobby. The lobby has nice decor and seating areas to hang out. The bar wasn't open while we stayed but it had a TV and lots of choices for whatever you may enjoy. I'm guessing they are open on weekends when there's more traffic.

Around 8 pm we decided to check out the indoor pool and hot tub. There were a couple of people there, only parents with their children. Although the pool is smaller it was just fine to relax. As a bonus, you can have drinks of your choice in the pool area (no glass) and they have a window to the bar where you can purchase drinks when they are open.

After the pool we decided to try out the whirlpool in our room. It's a nice size, enough for 2 people to sit in it. The jets turn on once the water reaches a certain point (so we think?) but at one point we wanted to drain some of the water to add more hot. Let's just say the jets turned on out of nowhere when the water was almost drained. The entire area outside of the whirlpool was soaked and it sprayed everywhere! We had no clue how to turn them off so we had to hold the towels around the tub to avoid the spraying. We later figured out that the small gold flat circle is the on/off button. It's not labeled which would have been helpful! It's funny now to look back and makes for a great story, but we were worried we would be charged for the wet carpeting. My boyfriend went down to the front desk to ask for more towels and let them know what happened. The lady working was very nice and even offered to give us a new room. She said the sensors fail sometimes so it wasn't a big deal, we wouldn't be charged. Remember if you go, the gold button is on/off! :)

Overall our room was nice and the bed was super comfy. We had a large private balcony, it's close enough to several restaurants you can walk to and the staff was very friendly. My only tip would be to go in the off season for cheaper rates, the room price almost doubles if you go during the busy season. I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
